Lunch is good but night service was very average.

2nd time in Camps Bay, visiting on a weekday in February. My husband & I had lunch, and it was nice enough. Great spot to sit and watch the goings on in Camps Bay. We were staying nearby and decided we would go back for drinks that evening. We sat ourselves at a leaner with barstools near the bar... read more

I was just looking to have a drink after having eaten at a nearby restaurant, Col 'Cacchio (delicious), and the "security" denied me entry because I had a take away box in my hands. The kitchen was closed so they were no longer serving food, and I certainly wasn't planning to eat my leftovers. While I can understand not allowing... More

While Caprice is packed from midday onwards, it was quite refreshing to be able to easily get a table and good service for breakfast. Few places would compare with the stunning view of Camps Bay beach on a sunny day. And the food was excellent too, as was the service. The only downside was careless smokers whose pollution wafted across... More

Cafe Caprice is not just a restaurant - its an institution! Iconic on the Cape Town map. It is the only place to head to for a sundowner cocktail and meal ... offering brilliant burgers, nachos, and cafe style food! The cocktails are epic - not too fancy or fussy - but lured with a stiff hand and a big... More

The place has a great relaxing vibe where you can just chill with an ocean view. The cocktails are delicious and the food (especially the burgers!) is fantastic. Go there and enjoy!

We arrived for an early lunch after hearing good reports. We were greeted and shown to a table, given menus and ordered only to be told a little while later that lunch only started 45 minutes later!!! We had our cool drinks and asked for the bill, when it arrived, we had been charged for our lunch that we were... More

On a beautiful spring Sunday morning we decided to have lunch in beautiful Camps Bay, set against the backdrop of the Twelve Apostles Mountain Range. It has the most beautiful beaches in Cape Town and is perfect for a holiday, lunch or late afternoon sundowners. It was perfect, almost spring weather, and first of all we drove along the coast...
