Went there as a group of 4 vegetarians. They only had a couple of items which was a bit disappointing (read on..) so we asked if there was anything they could do and we were impressed. They came up with four dishes which were very good. The veg platter was nice tasty and light (a nice change for other places... More

A really nice lace, strongly recommended. Go for the 3 course menue - greath value. Don't forget to book in advance

Went twice during my stay in CT. Had a springbok loin and a beef fillet at La Bohème, both excellent meals. Perfectly cooked, divine taste. No overly artsy fluff, just great meals on a plate. Service was impeccable yet totally relaxed. Wish I had a place like that back home.

We went for lunch and despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we were denied a larger table and forced to sit at a table so small that 2 large plates would fill it completely. For our mains we both ordered the seared fillet. The waiter did not ask how we wanted it done so before he left we asked for... More

When I called to make a booking they told me that they were fully booked but they could give me a table for a walk in. We decided to take it - no regret. Service was very good. Bistro menu 2 course meal - starter & main for R110.00 per person. What good value, everybody enjoyed it. Wine a little... More

Great atmosphere and food. 3 course menu (with non-steak main) for 130 rand. Very delicious. It is not gourmet/star food, but perfect for the price. If you want gourmet, you have to go elsewhere (test kitchen, pot luck club), but for 20% more quality you pay triple the price. The experience in La boheme is great.

I went along with 6 friends to La Boheme and had a great night. The menu selection was brilliant. I had the duck which had a confit leg and duck wontons. I found the meal maybe a little on the sweet side. But I would have happily eaten a bowl of those wontons. My friends had the fillet with mushroom... More

Due to all the positive reviews in TA we chose to go here. We had made a reservation, but when we arrived they seemed not to know anything about that. Well, we got a nice table. We ordered lamb and pointed out that we wanted it "medium rare". The waiter answered that all their lamb are made that way. Well,... More

A friendly neighbourhood restaurant in Sea Point. The set menu represents excellent value. We went twice and ate from both the set menu and a la carte. All we had was very good. Service super speedy and very friendly.

We have been here twice now. We always enjoy it. It is very similar to the restaurants we went to in France - menu is on a chalk board which is brought to the table. You can choose a main and starter for a set price of R110. They also serve a lot of french type food (rabbit, duck confit... More
