We visited this bistro a couple of times as our B&B was just around the corner. On the whole, the food was pretty good - my pasta was overcooked and my friend's sardines were too big to be eaten easily. Good value though with offers for 2 or 3 courses. A reasonably priced wine list, great service and full tables... More

Nice, homely restaurant. Always fun to go here and especially the "specials" menu. Food is good and great atmosphere. Be sure to make a reservation though. Vibey atmosphere and great staff.

Easy distance from the hotel. We went on our last night and should have gone on the first. We would have eaten there every evening. The Blackboard menus are brought to your table (enabling them to change the fare everynight if required) they were extensive and the choice was overwhelming. I wanted to try a number of the items. All... More

I start with the staff.. helpful, knowledgeable and very passionate about what they do. The food is wonderful mix of the many Mediterranean cuisines. You could pick anything from the menu and be rest assured that it will be great tasting - full of flavour and texture. The outside seating overlooking a quiet street is very bistro.. the music very... More

La Boheme seems to be well-known for good food...especially when served in its R120 for two course or R135 for three course options. Beef carpaccio and seared beef salad were both delicious. Pork belly very hearty and tasty. Sardines a bit of a disappointment, but they can be tricky. Creme brulee very decent. Overall, good service, very good food, and... More

Extensive menu, great service and a lively fun atmosphere. We walked to the restaurant from our hotel in Green Point - easy to find and very safe.

The biggest menus in the world! Staff attentive, helpful. Food well presented, healthy menu. Obviously a popular restaurant, filled up quickly. Unfortunately closed on Sundays. Very happy with our meal here.

I have been dining at La Boheme since they first opened their doors. It was a breath of fresh air on the Sea Point Main Road strip. Whenever I return to SA for a holiday, I make sure to have at least two meals at La Boheme. Thank you for your friendly service, for maintaining the good quality of food... More
