Fun African place to eat...

Food was good. Staff friendly and helpful explaining what food is what. Music and dancing entertaining. This is not the place for a romantic meal as the live African music is playing most of the night. Weird seeing my husband Eat most of the animals we saw on safari! I'm a vegetarian and there... read more

This is place for both locals & tourists. Comfortably multi-racial. This is the restaurant to visit for a wonderfully South African atmosphere. There was a 5 piece band & an excellent & entertaining singer. She had at least half of the patrons swaying with the music. Lots of female patrons & a few men got up to dance & everyone... More

It's hard to give this place a fair rating, as it is 'over the top' in a way that appeals to some folk, but not to others (me, for example!). The restaurant is in an unattractive corner of town and little effort has been placed on its décor, ambience or lighting. The menu is full of exotic (for a European)... More

Great fun. You're going predominantly for the vibe rather than the food. Two out of the three bands on the night we were there were top notch. It was New Year's Eve, the place was packed, it was really great, laid back fun. Staff were really friendly - and promptly helpful while staying in with the laid back attitude that... More

Homely environment, soothing beautiful Marimba music. Nostalgic kind of an environment. My kids enjoyed being here. The food though, not what I hoped for; I was very disappointed to be honest. However, I would like to pay them a visit again and hopefully be served by someone who will be hospitable enough as in explaining the menu to the patrons... More

Great live African music and also African food such as Ostrich ( very good) Impala and Kurdu and sometimes Crocodile as well as a normal menu.. Good service and an excellent atmosphere at a reasonable cost. We had tired another African restaurant we were very disappointed. Marcos Marcos made more than up for that.
