As an English bloke who loves his pubs you can't go wrong at the Ferrymans. Great sports tv, nice selection of beers , friendly staff and great pub grub !

The Firemans Arms is known for their big screen sports. Sport lovers flock to Firemans Arms to watch soccer or football matches. They obviously serve large beers and they have nice pizza.

Nestled close to CBD hotels, right next to one of the major roads in an out of the V&A you can 'experience' a little of an unpretentious Cape Town. You don't just have to appreciate the multiple beers on offer, the sports bar or great service - just sit and enjoy the people! The food is not bad either!

A nice spot on the Cape Town foreshore. Great character, beer on tap, good food (really! I had the all day breakfast and was surprised by how good it was). Service was good. Bathrooms are a bit iffy. Else, go for a beer and catch the game - a great sound system with ample screens.

A real pub in Cape Town, good food, wonderfully kept & served draught beer, pizza oven in evenings & friendly staff, led by the landlord. I can not go to Cape Town without paying a visit to this comfortable, friendly hostelry.

If you are looking for a pub with great ambience, old style, with great vibe, this is the place. Particularly on big sports days the place gets packed with nice people who enjoy watching their sport having great food, drinks and superb service. All waiters are great, but Lionel excels and not just because he looks like a dark replica... More

Very nice and big pub for watching the games. Service is very good and the drinks are free flowing and not too expensive. Crowd is good and atmosphere is great.

The food is good. The pizzas are great. The beer list is huge. And the TV's are plentiful. The only negatives are that it is impossible to get to the non-smoking section without walking through the VERY smoking section. And that they don't always/never take reservations, so you have to get there early for big sports events.

Great city pub with super friendly staff and a good pub menu. Very cheap drinks and warm cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately I got smart and tried the 911 Pizza. This is very hot. Smoking area best avoided, unless you smoke of course!

Dissapointing visit to a well known pub, gambling machines take preference, trip to toilet through the bowels of the pub. Staff serve under duress
