We visited Mitchell's for a late breakfast after collecting out of town guests from the airport. The food was exceptional and portioned well. We had the opportunity to do a beer tasting which is something to be tried by everyone who enjoys beer.

Good spot (upstairs in particular during winter) to watch the rugby with some mates. Some great local beers to sample. When the weather's good the outside area is vibey and frequently has a band playing.

This was just a short walk from our hotel (Portswood) and staff were welcoming and fun, without being too in your face. Drinks were great value (by UK standards) and they offered a selection of cocktails. The most amazing thing about this place were the pizzas, freshly made in full view and stone baked. So cheap and delicious... I must... More

Good location, and it was not full so we had a choice of tables. I suppose that should be a warning sign at 13h00 on a Saturday just after payday! The service was great, the waiter was prompt, efficient, and friendly. Although, he seemed to miss the "no ice" request... But the food, which is the reason one goes to... More

This place was quite busy - the beer and pizza were good. The sandwiches were just okay. The service was fine.

A very convenient stop on our walks to and from the V&A Waterfront enabling my husband to get his 'fix' of decent beer. We visited three times altogether, at various times during the day (not evening) and although busy we always managed to find a table outside. The various snacks we ate were perfectly acceptable pub grub - no complaints.... More

We had our lunch at this Public house. A live band was playing and the food and beer were excellent. Always worth a visit.

Stopped in for dinner and the patio was full, so we went upstairs to the non-smoking area. Frankly this is a joke, as we smelled like ashtrays when we left. The smoke is everywhere. Food is typical pub with both our meals being average. Only tried 1 beer because of the polluted atmosphere. Will not return, regardless of how good... More
