Great night out, but...

I loved the new tent, Sitting up in the balcony the lights reflecting on the mirrors made it look like the mirrors were windows to a lovely city night scene. The staff were really good and lots of activity in ever changing costumes. The food was really delicious and still hot when it got to our... read more

I loved the new tent, Sitting up in the balcony the lights reflecting on the mirrors made it look like the mirrors were windows to a lovely city night scene. The staff were really good and lots of activity in ever changing costumes. The food was really delicious and still hot when it got to our table. The different acts... More

We attended the new 'Celebration' show at the Grand Parade on Friday evening. What a fantastic event. Having been twice to the previous Cape Town show we couldn't believe that the new production could be even bigger, better, and more spectacular. We all had THE most amazing evening of entertainment, good food, and terrific atmosphere. A real out of this... More

We visited MZ over the weekend and as it was my second time around, I was looking forward to it. I must admit, I like the tent in the Waterfront better and I think the artists was better in the previous show. Still love love love Cathy Pacific! The food and service was nice, however the wine list was terrible.... More

A very interesting concept where young people get the chance to entertain you in a show with their acrobatic skills. I attended as part of a corporate event and the food served was very good. I was an enjoyable evening with a different twist.

Went to celebrate a friend's birthday as a party of 12 people. Age group between early 20s & mid 60s. Show was execellent from start to finish. Something for everyone. Food was pretty good could have been a little hotter. Waitrons are a spectacle to watch when they serve the food. Fun to dress up if you want to with... More

Youngsters looking for a chance to dress-up and party will like. Those wanting a more upscale dinner-and-show experience will want to spend their R500 p/p elsewhere. The 'Madame Zingara's' I experienced was in the outdoor arena at Montecasino, Johannesburg. Set-up in a small, circus-style tent with a stage projecting into the seating area. Dining tables and chairs crammed into every... More

There are shows and then there is Madame Zingara. This show is a complete waste of time and money. It screams of mediocrity, the jokes are lame and the acrobats have seen better days. If compared to Fantasee in Phuket it would have been cheaper to get on a airplane to Phuket.. The food- I didn't eat it! I can't... More

I had no idea what this place was because my friends booked for me but did not want to tell me where we are going. From the minute you step in the entrance, its like your in another world. The attention to detail is great. Loved the costumed waiters and how well everything is organised. The service is excellent. The... More

Went for a birthday, was very different from the usual scene. Enjoyed the welcoming from the lady with a bottle. Performance was entertaining.

I absolutely LOVED being entertained at Madame Zingaras, From the moment you arrive you are transported to a new world. I think it was possibly the best night out I have ever had. What terrific acts. The food may not be the best I have ever tasted, but it certainly was more than satisfactory, and dont forget you spend the... More
