In short: nice setting, great service, perfect food. In the lively Long street you can find the best tapas joint in CT. I call it tapas, because they do, but served in a different restaurant in a specific order you would call this a 500R chef's menu. Make sure to make reservations.

Fork is a tapas restaurant that I found outstanding. The five of us ordered all different kinds of items from Kudu to vegetarian plates. We shared most of the items and the taste was wonderful. The items were also expertly prepared and the presentation was outstanding. The entire dining experience was definitely a treat.

Tired and hungry after a morning of downtown shopping when we stumbled across Fork. Seated in this pleasant so what cramped space by its friendly, gregarious owner, we had a delicious, light & reasonably priced late lunch, accompanied by a nice glass of red wine. The fixed price sampler, accompanied by a glass of wine, was delivered to our table... More

Managed to get a table on Saturday night during a recent trip to Cape Town. Loved being able to have lots of small dishes, each a delight. Service was great, waitress made some delicious recommendations. Will certainly be going back.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere, loved the wine selection, and the service was excellent. Our waiter made good recommendations and the food is exquisite. Definitely go with friends who enjoy food and sharing experiences. Expect small, bite-size morsels and a relaxed service. Fork is added to my list of "places to take people".

Loved the way this place works. Ordering small samples of things lets you try an abundance of local dishes and flavours. Ostrich and kudu are surprisingly delicious. Great alternative from the same old same old. Cozy little place with very few tables. Attentive wait staff. Highly recommended.

After reading the reviews on TA, we booked Fork for our first night in Cape Town, mainly due to its close proximity to our hotel (Mount Nelson). We arrived for dinner one hour earlier than we had booked because we were extremely hungry and tired. What a perfect choice! The staff were all, without exception, friendly and attentive and the... Had a nice meal her - don't go if you're famished! It's tapas style so it adds up quickly if you get a lot of dishes. We had four between two of us, we were satisfied and it was very tasty.
