There were some weird parts to the meal. Very dark restaurant (suspiciously dark). Random servers stopped at our table, in addition to our waitress. One such random person pointed to our basket of bread, asking "were well all set with the bread basket" - very odd question - were they short baskets?? We said that we were good - indicating... More

Few restaurants can claim great service, great seafood and a great setting. Sevruga can't claim these, Sevruga owns these. A really great setting for any meal and occasion. Service and food is exceptional and I've been here a few times now and haven't been disappointed. On the edge of the water at the V&A makes for a great view and... More

The food is not bad. The waiters are generally very good and the service good. But the price of the drinks and food in general makes this an incredibly unattractive restaurant especially given the many, many other restaurants in Cape Town that serve excellent food at sometimes half the price. What shocked me the most was the price of the... More

in the V&A waterfront, we really enjoyed the amazing sushi at Sevruga. Service was good, fast and gentle. Advices on better special sushi plate was really well done, quality of sushi +++ for a very reasonable price. Absolutely recommended

All dishes were excellent. The service was great and the food was cheap especially since it is such a classy restaurant.

We visited Sevruga last night as it came recommended by a friendly waiter from another (far better) restaurant at the V&A Waterfront. The restaurant was very dark and crowded on a Monday evening. The springbok we ordered for our children came quickly and was very nice, the accompanying vegetables however were terribly overcooked. Overcooking seemed to be an issue as... More

We have been to Sevruga a couple of times and always had a great experience, definately my new favourite restaurant in Cape Town. On my recent visit to CapeTown we went during the sushi/cocktail happy hour. The sushi was incredible, lime bubbles cocktail was awsome and then a good bottle of Haute Cabriere. The waiters are very attentive and all... More

Be wary. We ordered 4 bar drinks and got 3. We asked for fizh recommendation and highest priced choices recommended. We ordered midpriced Vergelegen and got double priced reserve, then an argument that was what we ordered. Sent back unopened. We started over with the wine list and finally got what we ordered. Waiter said our meal was comped then... More

We had an excellent meal (check out the springbok starter and fish was all good) in a lively atmosphere next to the waterfront. The waiting staff were excellent; attentive, enthusiastic and humorous. Great place.
