Imported foodstuff at its best (at a cost)!

If you want imported food and wine then this is the place for you. Marmite? Tick. Carr crackers? Tick. All famous Italian coffe beans? Tick. Parma ham? Tick.... But you do pay for the imported stuff. Weak Rand and high transport costs. Don't get me wrong. I support the local industry too, but... read more

The deli has a great selection of cheeses, meats, veggies and breads. The food is all very fresh and tasty. The coffee area is a lovely meeting place for a quick stop-over to meet friends. Its a pity that the coffee is average and that the barrister never gives service with a smile.

Giovannis is a place you will never complaint about any type of food or coffee you have. It is conveninetly located in the city bowl. East to access, no parking problem. Fresh food, excellent coffee. I strongly recommend to have any course if meal if you are tired of processed foods.

Giovanni's is just a small deli with very limited seating inside and in front of the Deli. It is worth going even if you have to wait or take your food with you. You pick out your rolls or bread and then order your sandwiches or even lox or deli fish at the counter. You then find your seat across... More

Wow, what a fantastic find. Beautiful deli food to eat in or take away. We did both as it was so good. Shame that they do not have a license as a nice glass of wine would have been great with the delicious food.

Been purchasing food from Giovannis for years in the hopes I might be able to eat their cooked meals or freshly packaged deli meals, but it is like eating a bowl of salt. No matter what I try, including the vegetables, I simply cannot eat it due to being oversalted. Lovely vibe, friendly staff and good breads, cheeses and fruit... More

Giovannis opposite the stadium on the main road to Sea-point. Its an Italian Deli with a few bar stools and great coffee. Visited them many times. They are famous for all their imported products ,olive oil, pasta, Italian vino, imported herbs and spices in fact they have a range as good as any small supermarket in Italy. They have a glass... Great coffee and fresh sandwich every time you come. What more could one ask for from a coffee shop. Cake that you can't refuse imported sweets .This is my favourite coffe spot in CapeTown and I highly recommend it to all that have not been there.

Instead of buying ready made meals from high end supermarkets, I go to Giovanni's. I find so much variety and also discover amazing ways to eat vegetables such as with their cauliflower and kale mash. I love the quality of their food. I tried almost everything because I buy from them a lot. Sometimes I get vegetable sides to add... More
