Lovely relaxed venue, quality of food & service has remained excellent. We usually share a few starters, the snails, trinchado & crumbed mushrooms are highly recommended. Seven years ago we hired the venue for my husband's 60th birthday party complete with Cape Town Highlanders pipe & drum band. Buffet was fantastic & the evening was faultless. Lovely venue for children's... More

So we were looking for a venue to celebrate the father-in-law's 70th birthday party, attendance about 40 people. Selected the buffet menu and date and time. Never worried about anything after that. The whole event was perfectly set up. The buffet was without doubt the best I've ever had (I was stuffed after the entrees). The service was superb, they... More

I had the opportunity to take my daughter for a breakfast on the weekend. There is a great play area but no one to supervise, so great for the kids but no break for the adults. The breakfast was very tasty and great value for money, however you need to be patient to wait for it. One area they can... More

Driftwood Cafe restaurant has impressively friendly and efficient service, great food, lovely atmosphere - with an array of facilities for the kids. What more could you ask for!? Try the Madagascan Steak, prepared by Bronson the chef, it's a winner.

I've been a fan of Dale and Driftwoods for many years... child friendly facilities, good menu, reasonably priced. However, I think it's time for an upgrade. Facilities getting a bit shabby. Food still good quality and service ok.

Not the best meal that I ever had but okay...the children loved running about with the geese and the play park is great for them but because of the geese, there are also lots of flies, which is annoying!!

Off the beaten track, this gem of a place offers good food at reasonable prices. Children are encouraged and can play safely within sight of their dining parents. The Onion Rose is wonderful.

Seeing that we have a Guest House just up the "green belt" from Driftwood Cafe/Restaurant, it is fantastic to have such a wonderful and popular Restaurant on our foot-steps. We (Family of 6 - from the youngest, 6 years of age to his grandmother ? of age.) have been going there for over 7 years and always had a fantastic... More
