Description: With panoramic views of Signal Hill, Signal Restaurant provides a welcome setting on the water's edge. The menu is a unique combination of flavours incorporating influences from the many cultures that called upon this region in days gone by. The aged yellowwood furniture juxtaposed with crisp white linen, all skillfully positioned in the glow of the eccentric hand-crafted chandeliers sets the atmosphere for a new level of hip hotel dining.

We arrived in Cape Town from Florida and went immediately to Table Mountain - so, yes, we were tired. The Cape Grace staff suggested a dinner served in our suite (there were 6 of us - on one of our son's honeymoon).... We all gathered together and they took our order and then served us the best meal, perhaps, of... More

We stayed at this hotel and ate here in the evening twice. I particularly liked the salmon and sorbet.

I've enjoyed may nice breakfasts in Signal Restaurant. Well worth your while for a treat. Most dishes freshly cooked; very friendly service. The lunch we enjoyed was a big, big culinary surprise. Must have dinner next time!

We stayed at Cape Grace and enjoyed eating at Signal Restaurant for breakfast, afternoon tea and pastries, and once for dinner. The food was excellent and the ambience is lovely overlooking the waterfront.

We had a good first night in Cape Town dinner here. A good variety of hot breads with hummus dips was a great start. The highlights of the meal were the Parmesan truffle fries, springbok bobotie, sticky toffee pudding. Give the ostrich a miss - a little too tough and tasteless. Service is somewhat cold and detached.

We tested this restaurant with friends. Foods was really good, oroginal and well presented. The restaurant is very classy. The sommelier attitude wasn't really professional but anyways he suggested us great wines (by the way the most expensive ones). Globally an high level restaurant

My husband took me for dinner here as a birthday treat and what a treat it was! There is a fine dining atmosphere in the most beautiful setting. The tasting menu was delicious and well portioned. The staff were so attentive - everyone greeted us by name and wished me happy birthday! A lovely evening where we were well fed... More
