The menu is a unique combination of flavours incorporating influences from the many cultures that called upon this region in days gone by. Elegant dining

I frequent this restaurant. The food and wine are impressive. The service is top notch each time I visit. I once arrived at 10PM for dinner, the shef together with the restaurant manager made provision to accommodate me that late. The ambiance is of luxury and sophistication. Worth it!!

What a big disappointment. The staff was very friendly, top notch for them, but what we got for the price attached to it. I was expecting a big table with a whole bunch of different things to choose from. Instead we received a three layer cake stand with little on it. The bread tasted and felt like it was two... More

Comfortable, elegant dining with terrific food. AND...high marks to hostess, Tabisha and barman, Mangena. Both were super friendly and helpful with whatever we were looking for. The two of them truly helped to make our experience(s) superb!

We stumbled about the restaurant whilst in search of the whiskey bar (also a good find). My husband and I tried the seven course tasting menu. (1 x vegetarian, 1 x meat & fish) The restaurant was lovely and the decor is very "historical". The food and wine was amazing and interesting for the tasting menu, the wine was chosen... More

Part of Cape Grace hotel. Very good food, with quality service and a magnificent view of the harbour and Table Mountain. Staff is very professional and seeks to please. Highly recommended. If I have one complaint, the hotel will acknowledge they serve cape Malay food. Thus not much seafood, despite being on the docks.

Had a wonderful time with tasting menu! Food was amazing, service was superb and wine was out of this world! Could not fault a thing. Our waiter Wellington was excellent and we could not complain about a single thing!

If asked to describe the afternoon in three words, I will have to say, "Lack of abundance". The Cape Grace is listed as one of the top "must experience" venues for afternoon (high) tea. I disagree with this statement. Make no mistake; I absolutely love this hotel and have been there for "coffee and cake" many times and will most... More

Very nice setting with average service. Interesting menu. Only problem is that even though the food was tasty and well presented it was cold - even the plates were cold. Divine deserts.

I recently enjoyed a memorable dinner at the Signal Restaurant, which is located at the beautiful Cape Grace Hotel, in the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Cape Town. The Signal Restaurant offers Cape cuisine that's fresh and inventive and draws on influences from the many nationalities and customs that have shaped this region since being settled in 1652; namely Dutch and...
