A place with a view, most certainly. Good food, even though our crayfish was somewhat overcooked. The fresh white fish was excellent though. Friendly staff, but very erratic service, with the dining room clearly in need of somebody taking charge.

We wandered into this restaurant during a recent stay in Camps Bay. It turned out to be a gem with excellent service, "beach chic" customers, and very good seafood. Definitely worth a visit!

Spent a lovely early evening at Blues. Booked early so we could watch the sunset which was amazing. The menu caters for all tastes though it is largely seafood...for kids there is pasta and various burgers etc. I had crayfish which were superb...a lovely bottle of Rustenberg white wine. Service was attentive and fun, with the kids feeling very welcome... More

Nice for a lazy lunch in the sun. Food was good, massive portions though so be warned ! I think this is more a lunch venue than a dinner venue

We tried Blues on a quiet evening. Service and food were good, but not great. Views are wonderful, and a great spot for lunch.

The views are wonderful and the atmosphere was nice on the evening we ate there. Staff are functional and tick most boxes. The food was nice and we both enjoyed it but we both felt there was just that "X-FACTOR" missing.Couldnt quite put our finger on it. We would prob give this place 7 out of 10 and come back... More

Dear Sir, Thank you for your very diplomatic review on Blues, whilst very much fair i feel that we must have under delivered on this occasion, which i am unhappy and disappointed about from our side. I know that we do have the capability to "wow" , and certainly do hope that you return and give us a chance to... More

nice evening, good service for all of us. Pricier than most restaurants in Cape Town area but great location and views over Camps Bay. Place was bustling and had a good 'vibe'. I enjoyed a lovely crayfish main course, recommended

After an evening at the theatre we decided to eat at Blues, a restaurant we used to enjoy going to many years ago. It has been down sized but the views are still spectacular. Having perused the menu we decided to order and that's when things started to go wrong. No caesar salad available due to no cos lettuce, no... More

Hi Childa, i do apologize for your below par service at Blues that Sunday night. As was mentioned we did have an abnormally busy lunch service which did heavily reduce our stock levels, especially of those two options which are a lunch time favorite. We did do our best to find cos lettuce, pick n pay and surrounds were all... More

Went hear on our 2nd night in Capetown on recommendation of friends from UK. We really enjoyed the great atmosphere and the views over the beach at sunset. Atmosphere of the restaurant ist very nice, not a doubt. Food not so much. The mussels came in a way too fat sauce. A simple white wine sauce without tons of cream would have sufficed. The chocolate mousse simply was non edible. Was wondering how a so easy dessert could be done so horribly wrong (i really was thinking about... More
