Cod father was recommended by our hotel as a go to for see food. We are from a large seafood area and were pleasantly surprised by the selection they offered. We were not overly impressed with the style of the place or the lack of spices use to cook the seafood.

The service, food quality and setting were all fantastic. What a fantastic restaurant. There are so many choices in Camp's Bay and I would recommend to anyone they try this restaurant!

I was so excited to book heard such good things, had recommendations from friends and researched best seafood in the area. We walked in and I wasn't disappointed at the fantastic display of seafood on offer. Excitedly ordered a spread that included large juicy prawns, king clip and calamari....it came back from the kitchen overcooked, dry and tasteless. Way over... More

Go "fishing" and choose the fish you'd like from the display counter. You can even get a sampling and try several kinds. The whole shebang comes to the table in a large skillet. Do check prices as it's market/weight, but we found it quite reasonable.

I find the lack of menu and no indicative prices quite frustrating. The fish comes grilled in some sort of coating in an earthenware pot, the quality of fish was ok thought nothing special, the chips were undercooked & there was no side salad. The wine was several steps up in quality compared to the food. I wouldn't recommend or... More

This place was amazing. The had a spinning sushi bar & you picked out your meal over at the seafood counter. Than they cook to perfection. I had lobster tail, langastino & huge prawn. All delish!!!

Only ate at the seafood part of the restaurant and didn't bother with sushi. Shared calamari for starter, which was excellent. Shared a platter for main, in which we had tiger prawns, sardines, tuna and another that I forget. Also came with chips, rice and veg. Fish was superb, but rice and veg were a little bland and didn't add... More

The seafood is good... the sushi bar is just OK and could be better,,, but the seafood is a must... Fish can be a bit cold by the time you eat it....may be better to bring the fish along in stages instead of all together on one big serving plate. I would certainly order it this way next time ....... More

The sushi was good, but no new costumers came in after us so we had no new options. The same trays of sushi just kept going around and around. We would have eaten more but we ate everything we would have wanted. Would have been nice to order sushi from a menu at that point.

First of all, there is nothing special about this restaurant. The decoration did not impress me at all. When we arrived, although there were plenty of tables available and we had had made reservations before, they told us that we could only use the table for 1 hour and not more. We chose Giant Tiger, yellow fish and another fish... More
