Amazing seafood!

Lively and stylish seafood restaurant in Camps Bay, tourist prices but worth it in our eyes - amazing calamari appetizer (alternatively you can get sushi), grilled seafood of your choosing as mains (get langoustines!)

If you look for proper seafood thats is the place to be! To beggin you have no menus so you must follow the waiter and he will explain to you all the delicious variety of fresh seafood! Prawns from Mozambique, Langoustines, Local Crayfish...Amazing! After your choice is done they will grill everything and you will eat like a king. Don't... More

Three of us ate at the Godfather last night. A small fireplace near the entrance gave a cozy feeling, and the wait staff were attentive and pleasant. I chose plates of tuna and salmon sushi and shrimp tempura from the revolving display. All were tasty. The evening felt festive, in part because of the spectacular view over the ocean at... More

Codfather was recommended by our hosts for the sushi but experience was dissapointing. Despite goid quality of the fish therw was not really a great choice on the kaiten. Most disapointing was to see the chefs taking trays from the kaiten to put them back on plates to be served as sushi plate un the restaurant. Taking into account the... More

I was quite disappointed in this highly recommended restaurant. The tables were very close together and seemed more like a noisy crowded family restaurant. The sushi looked great but I chose a grilled half lobster which was very dry. I was never clear what the cost would be as the fresh seafood was listed by Rands per the kg.

This was recommended to us by locals and friends back in the UK. Great restaurant where you can pick the fish you eat from a counter and they cook it to you liking. A lot of the fish is locally caught. Also has a sushi bar which served a whole range of dishes - all very good. Not a huge... More

This place was recommended by our hotel and it was great! There is no menu. Instead, you select your fish and the portions from a large selection of seafood. The tiger prawns were the best I've ever had and all the seafood was fresh and delicious.

Food was delicious!! I will recommend anyone to go have a taste of the local fresh fish. You can choose what you like and they cook it for you. Pay by the kg. :)

First, let me say that the service at this restaurant may have been better than at any other establishment where we dined in Southern Africa over the course of two weeks. Our server, Trevor, was very attentive, and we hard our starter and beverages promptly. Further, once we selected our fish, it was prepared quickly and out in a flash... More
