The food was great and I recommend going. The atmosphere is disappointing but you can deal with that. The biggest flaw here is the lack of menus and trying to figure out what you're ordering and having no idea how much it will cost. You go to the counter and pick out your seafood. It isn't labeled and it gets... More

Seating not comfortable. They can work on the interior a bit more. The sushi section looks much nicer.

This place was recommended by a coworker and I know why. Everything was fresh and caught that day. The food was excellent. You have complete control over your entree - you are able to tell them how big of a piece of fish or how many prawns you want. A little pricy, but well worth the money. The service was... More

Whether they are from Germany or The US, all my clients I brought to The Codfather restaurant loved it. They always have real fresh fish and shellfish. I always order a big fish platter with a little bit of everything. The sushi is also a big winner for a lovely starter. A real gem with the best seafood in Cape... More

Certainly wasn't let down by fellow Advisors on this one...the concept of choosing your fish/prawns beforehand and size of portion was refreshing. The service by Trevor was attentive and professional...the vibe rocked with large tables alongside us with a farm fireplace heating things up. The calamari cajun style starter was super-tender and tasty...then cam possibly the very best sushi I've... More

It is a nice restaurant, good atmosphere and kind personnel. Fish is fresh...the only blemish is that they overcook it and it gets hard...as an Italian I notice such things...maybe this doesn't bother everyone At the end of the day, it is a nice place, worth a try.

I'm obsessed with good prawns and I have never had prawns this good. You walk to a large cooler to pick from freshly caught large prawns and fish. They butterfly them, add a little spice, and grill them. Absolutely divine. The sushi is pretty good as well. Great ambiance and a nice location near to the beach in Camp's Bay.... More
