We came back three times! Wonderful stak with Pioneer's special basting. Fabulous value, charming service and a safe and convenient location. Highly recommended.

There's a choice of outside seating under the covered veranda, or inside, or even in an air conditioned room. Comfortable booths, a few sports orientated tv's, and relaxed service. The wine selection is varied, though almost exclusively south african, so make sure you know what to order.

Although the waitress was friendly she was very unprofessional in her service. Wrong plates of food ended up at wrong customers, we had to call for her when needed and waited forever to get the table's drinks simultaneously. What a place to celebrate my birthday after 28 hours of travelling from Denmark via london. Galvin from Laughing waters Guest House that did book this place for us. Johnny /Kirsten from Denmark P.S Torben Petersen is not our name.

Had the most pleasant experience. Moses, our waitron, treated us like royalty, and got our orders down perfectly. The food was very good, and if you love meat, this is theplace to go. We had two great evenings at this restaurant, It is a very big place and never seems crowded, this does not take away from the fine food served. We tried most of the memu over the two visits. Ordered 4 fillet steaks. We waited over an hour for them!!! Restaurant was half empty. Very bad service but the enviroment and location is wonderfull. Food is nice not so tasty.

We were holidaying in Hazyview and our family of ten had dinner on 30 Dec at Pioneers. The ambiance was terrific as was the service. The food was absolutely sublime. Excellent choices of wine.
