We went here for breakfast and were fairly disappointed. We had to ask the hostess twice before a waitress came to take our order. The place wasn't busy at all, so I'm not sure why she was so slow getting to us. The food was cold, which gave me the impression that it was sitting and waiting for a while... More

This has been a favorite of our for many years but our most recent visit for dinner was not as good as we had expected. Few wait staff on duty and they seemed stressed. Food was plentiful although my pork cutlets were not a tasty as I had hoped for. Maybe just a bad night. We won't give up on... More

After spending hours in the car from San Diego, the hotel manager suggested the Black bear for dinner and he was not wrong. We had a lovely meal in nice and homely surroundings, the place was very busy when we got there, gave our name and waited for about 10 mins. The food and service was very good. The clientale... This is a basic home style Mom and pop family restaurant , I have never had a bad meal here , from burgers to meatloaf with mash potatoes and gravy they have a full menu . The deserts are pretty awesome also ,the pie's are gorgeous . At times they will be lined out the door to get in as... More

The food is old fashioned down home country cooking. If you love fried chicken made the old fashion way, you will enjoy that meal here. Be prepared for LARGE portions. If you are on the road, order from the (a little less) section of the menu so you don't have to carry a lot out with you. Nice people and... More

While visiting my husband's parents in Lake Havasu City, decided to try Black Bear...great decision! Food was plentiful and nicely prepared and it tasted good! We'll go back on next trip for sure! Highly recommend for families!

Huge portions! I repeat... HUGE portions. Home style cooking and a fairly large selection make this a "must stop" location. The breakfast menu is amazing, with a large number of "get them only here" selections. You just need to experience this family style diner to appreciate them. We have yet to get a disappointing meal here, but always get more... More

This is one of our favorite restaurant in Lake Havasu. The food is always good but it is the service that rocks. The staff is outstanding.
