Although the setting is lovely our experience was not! The coffee was bad, our waitress was rude and unhelpful! We especially went for breakfast and my mother and I both being intolerant to egg kindly asked if we could replace the egg with something else but were told ' It's breakfast what did we expect, just take the egg off!... Amazing place to have breakfast, and the food is really nice. And the cheese cakes are amazing. I would definitely go back

We really enjoyed our visit to the Waterberry Tea Garden. We had the nicest scones we have ever eaten and delicious coffee. Service was good considering the place was packed. Also enjoyed looking at the pond outside and wandering through the 'jungle trail' Thoroughly recommended.

Been there twice dring our 2weeks stay. Great atmosphere, good Food, excellent cakes, but you Need patience i.e time . It Takes a while for the drinks, and a looonger while for the food. So, if you have enough time on your Hand, go there. The Service tries hard, but needs guidance.

I always go to Waterberry Tea Garden when visiting Ballito and was thrilled to find the rebuilt version looking fresh, modern, clean and inviting. There are always yummy looking meringues, chocolates, biscuits, bottled goods, etc on display as you walk in and the breakfast didn't disappoint. I had heard that standards had dropped over the festive season, but we could... More

We went for brunch and had a 30min for a table. They have lovely comfy couches to sit and wait and jugs of cold water. They also still sell all their jams, biscuits etc so you could wander around while you wait. I do like the new building its nice and airy but was disappointed that there is no out... More

We decided to give the newly reopened Waterberry a try for lunch. Love the new look, it's more open and light! Had a half an hour wait for our table, staff really friendly and service was good. Had the chicken Caesar salad which was delicious and a large portion. Also recommend the nougat cheese cake.....yummy,

We enjoyed a lunch at Waterberry last week. We were a party of eight including two children. The venue is light and airy with modern and traditional touches. The menu is enticing and the food is fantastic! The portions are huge and the service is excellent - even during peak season. We will definitely be visiting again. Although we didn't... More
