Not Good

Since this was rebuilt we have been here twice. On both occasions the service has been bad. The people are friendly however the youngsters are familiar & have no idea on service. Cakes are nice but food is expensive & not tasty at all. We won't be back unless things improve. At the old Waterberry... read more

Very glad the place has been rebuild after the fire. The decor now modern but very refreshing. Had breakfast, my husband had English breakfast and I had the American one i.e. crumpets with bacon and syrup, really nice. Next time will go for their cheese cake again, always been the best in town

So glad this lovely place is open again and looking awesome after the rebuilt. It is important to go to the Waterberry as an outing and not a quick stop. Yes, the service is slow and sometimes unfriendly BUT the food is always excellent and the ambience unique and beautiful. We always swing by at least twice on a sea... More

Saturday 14 February: Met with friends for coffee, orders not fulfilled correctly by waitress. I enquired after a booking for Sunday breakfast and was advised that bookings were not taken. Sunday 15 February: Arrived for breakfast at 9:15 and was informed that no tables were available, despite the fact that there were several tables unoccupied. The manager advised that a... More

This quaint coffee shop makes and bakes everything on site. It also has a "water table" with fresh fruits which is a brilliant touch. The service is excellent, the great combinations of tastes and flavours and sizable portions provides for awesome quality! Will definitely go back!

Stunning peaceful setting, cheesecake's, chocolate cake and scones as enjoyed by the family were great however we would have felt a bit over priced had it not been for the setting. Would we recommend it most certainly but be prepared to part with two or three Rand more than the norm. Enjoy!

Although the setting is lovely our experience was not! The coffee was bad, our waitress was rude and unhelpful! We especially went for breakfast and my mother and I both being intolerant to egg kindly asked if we could replace the egg with something else but were told ' It's breakfast what did we expect, just take the egg off!... We really enjoyed our visit to the Waterberry Tea Garden. We had the nicest scones we have ever eaten and delicious coffee. Service was good considering the place was packed. Also enjoyed looking at the pond outside and wandering through the 'jungle trail' Thoroughly recommended.

Been there twice dring our 2weeks stay. Great atmosphere, good Food, excellent cakes, but you Need patience i.e time . It Takes a while for the drinks, and a looonger while for the food. So, if you have enough time on your Hand, go there. The Service tries hard, but needs guidance.
