Zucchini is blushing from all the attention... Voted in the "Top 20 Culinary Destinations" in the Garden Route for three years running as voted by the Chaines des Rotisseurs. Also voted best "Family Restaurant" in the Garden route for the last two years. If walls of this honest country restaurant could talk the conversation would include words of fresh, vibrant, from scratch, home grown organic and compliments to the chef. To us simplicity is the key. You can expect dishes filled with flavour, a taste experience for the natural foodie. Zucchini Restaurant is in the Timberlake Organic Village in Wilderness. We offer a selection of Vegetarian meals but also offer game dishes like the "Springbok Shank" or our "Trio of Carpaccio". A mix of local-made micro brews from the tap! 32 Different types of local beers to taste, not to be missed. Play park for the kids, and a host of activities to keep them busy while you relax on our couches and sip a glass of wine.

Lazy lunch

Loved this place - it's in an area with lots of craft shops, kiddie friendly fun, but this place had the best food. Funky country decor and live music when we visited. Food was great and some yummy sections of interesting juices!

We normally drive past Timberlake Organic Village, Wilderness, on the N2, but we decided that we would stop here and see what was on offer, and we were pleasantly surprised and so glad that we did. We had lunch, and then 2 days later brought family with to enjoy brunch. Wow, such a great experience, and love the decor, setting,... More

We heard about the good food at this restaurant and decided to make a stop. Kicked of our lunch with milkshakes - one of the better coffee shakes I have ever had and my wife was very surprised to find real strawberries in hers :) Just missed a bit of cream on top. I had a very lovely tasty lamb... More

We stopped at this quiet little village farm stall type venue. The stop alone was worth the effort and the food was amazing. Loved the detail to perfection. A very nice place to eat

We shared a very enjoyable meat and cheese platter late one afternoon together with some beer and wine, but beware of the monkeys, they will steal your food if you are not wary!

Enjoyed a very nice lunch at zucchini, the host was very pleasant, a great selection on the menu, but had to eat indoors because otherwise the monkeys would have eaten our food before us.

If you are looking for something a little different, this is the restaurant to go to. Their menu bursts with flavour combinations that I would have never thought to have put together. The staff are friendly, the decor is quirky and it all comes together with the quility of the food they serve. I would recommend this to anyone travelling... More

We stopped in for a quick lunch and it was quicker and better than expected. Excellent range of craft beers, my son's hake and chips was superb, really fresh and accurately cooked, and the Belgian chocolate cheesecake was to die for. Potato wedges had that stodgy interior which can come from par cooking then sitting about and the patty on... More

We ate here about three times. Owner/managers - awesome commitment to service and quality. Sadly a tree took down a powerline in the middle of their busiest time. They improvised very well.
