We went to the Blue Olive in The Wilderness and we all enjoyed whatever we ate. A cosy fire welcomed us on a very chilly night. This restaurant caters for all tastes. The night we went, we all had fish. From a calamari and hake combo, prawns and a seafood potjie - everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal.

My Brother and I went here for dinner and cocktails. The cocktails are over-priced and whatever you do, please DO NOT order the Mojito!! (If I wanted rum and water with lemon and a sprig of mint on top, I would have ordered it......!!). The food was very good, but they ran out of chorizo, wich was a huge dissapointment... More

I had a taste of almost everything on the menu!B At least, the tapas and the starters. The waitstaff were attentive and interesting, and the whole evening felt special. Thank you.

This was my second visit to this restaurant in winter, simply to enjoy their yummy homemade soup. You can sit outside or inside, but will enjoy a warm reception and excellent food. The restaurant serves a homemade soup of the day, quite a nice portion with a garlic ciabatta roll. It is simply delicious. I hope they keep up this... More

The place is very nice. They have different types of seating inside and out. Food was very good, the steak and the burger. Staff was very good and friendly. I would come back.

Being a foodie one can become quite critical sometimes. You sometimes just want simple food, well prepared from fresh ingredients and recognizable in its original form. What a great restaurant. Perfect lunch spot to watch passing trade whilst enjoying tapas and great selection of SA wine. Fresh wild oysters from Mosselbay set the scene. Calamari and fish cakes were tasty... More

We had a difficult time choosing whether to go to the Fava Cafe or the Blue Olive - and soooo happy we went with the Blue Olive. The food was amazing and the service very good. The owner is present and makes you feel very welcome. We would definitely go back the next time. They can maybe just take the... More

This local place in wonderful Wilderness is well worth a stop. We sat on the elevated terrace which is built around the trees and so creates a delightful, shady spot to munch delicious fresh fish and people watch in the tiny village. Breakfast and good coffee is also a treat and the prices are right. The service is as casual... More

While it was pouring buckets outside, we sat next to the fire place and enjoyed a really good meal. Thank you!
