Located in the heart of the Wilderness village, we are a multi award winning, Top 10 Restaurant on the Garden Route. Come and relax in a cosy, African inspired atmosphere highlighted by stunning artwork by local artist, Peter Pharoah. We have an imaginative menu combining high quality local produce with distinctly different flavours. Popular menu items include fresh linefish, succulent prawns, tender steaks and flavoursome curries all cooked to perfection in our open kitchen where you can see the chef at work. Our award winning wine list has been carefully chosen to offer a wide selection of local South African wines to enhance your dining experience. We have handmade crafts in our curio shop upstairs and free Wi-Fi available. We look forward to welcoming at The Girls

Outstanding!

We had The Girls on our short list of restaurants to try in Wilderness, as we saw good to great reviews. It did not disappoint. The setting is funky, with a loft area above which contains art for sale. Our waiter was charming and helpful. When I asked what the line fish of the day was, he not... read more

This was our first night in Wilderness, we just randomly pick this place. We were surprised at how good the food was as the description left us some what wondering. Thanks for a great night and the girls will definitely see us in the future.

Our second visit to Wilderness and we headed straight to The Girls. There are lots of very good restaurants in Wilderness and yet we visited twice during our 4 night stay - we enjoy it so much. The food and wine choices are extensive and excellent and staff could not have been more helpful and attentive. The restaurant was full... More

Everybody advised us to go to the girl restaurant, but we had to make a booking We saved our visit for our last evening. We had a very nice waiter, but we found the atmospher so dull. The food was not the best that we enjoyed on our 6 days stay and we found ourselves wishing the evening while we were there... More

Dear WillemanEsme Thanx for taking the time to review us and please allow me to respond. At this time of the year, when the season madness has all but died, it really is a difficult one to maintain the usual buzz and atmosphere of a bustling restaurant. The restaurant as you say is only open at nights. During the day,... More

Wilderness is a cute little town outside Knysna. We found the restaurant through TripAdvisor and their menu stated that their speciality was prawns: you can choose any style you like. We ended up ordering more - try the girls sauce! - because they were super delicious. Perfectly cooked! Besides, we also ordered the trio of meat - eland, springbok and... More

Very formal type setting. Not very relaxed. Not popular, fairly empty every time we were here. Waiters are okay. I did not see any girls as the restuarant implies. No bar. Food was ok, could be better. Small tables. Boring menu. Would not go there again. Very expensive for the weak expetiences I had there. Very arty type place. Some... More

Dear SkyeOzzy I have waited to formulate my answer to this review to make sure that my sarcasm didn`t come through – but please forgive me if it does. What an excellent meal! The service was excellent and the food was very good. Excellent seafood dishes, good veggie platter, tasty starters and the dessert was lovely.
