Not exaggerating

It's on a parking lot next to a petrol station and it serves a truly brilliant prawn curry. The kingclip was great too, but the prawn curry was sublime, really one of the best restaurant dishes I've ever eaten. Also, the service was spot-on. Book ahead. If you have to wait for a later sitting, do... read more

Loved the choice of three line fish. I had the line fish with prawns and extra prawns just to try the different flavor combinations. Great food and perfect service. Next time, I will have prawns for starters and mains. Their frozen cheesecake and the chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce was the perfect ending to a great meal.

We visited The Girls twice - would have been three times but they close on Mondays - and had excellent food and service. The entrance (off the petrol station forecourt) is not very attractive but once in the ambience was good. On Mondays their sister restaurant, Flava's, is open so we went there.

Everybody talks about the Girls, and it was good and we enjoyed it. Lots of people and friendly staff. Lots of atmosphere and a bit crammy.

If you ever have a stay in Wilderness you should try this excellent place. But don't Forget to serve a table; that this is a good place know other People too. Enjoy and don't care about the Petrol Station next to it. It's really delicious.

Don't be fooled by the location - this is one of my favourite restaurants of all time. Honestly one of the best meals myself and my husband have ever hand - flavoursome steaks grilled to perfection and the best brownies and homemade ice cream we have experienced. An art gallery in the mix with excellent service added to the experience.... More

inventive menu. Not fine dining, but just what you want on a beach trip. Loved every mouthful from starter to dessert. Highly recommended.

All locals in the greater Wilderness/George area told us to go to "The Girls", and we understood why once we went there for dinner. Cute atmosphere, lovely staff who got everything right in terms of allergies etc, good prices and - most importantly - delicious food. The starters were fantastic and the mains even better.

Our first trip to stay in Wilderness for a weekend away from our home in Plett so my husband and I decided to eat here. A slightly obsequious but friendly and efficient waiter, who is the first in a long time to know that he should wait till we'd both finished our meal before removing our plates, a refreshing change...
