The restaurant is great for business meetings and offers generous portions for the price you pay. The only thing lacking is the decor which is very old fashioned but the quality of the food and service makes this negligible.

Quincey's is like a good friend, always reliable, trustworthy and well, friendly. We've been to Quincey's far too many times to count and we've never had anything but a great experience. No doubt the hands-on management of proprietor Mark Brokensha is a huge factor, as is the friendly and attentive service of the waitrons. Other plusses is the plentiful parking,... More

Every time I go to Quincy's I am struck by the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Mark truly makes you think you are his best friend and the rest of the staff follow suit. To top it all I had a seared tuna something that was totally outstanding. Great restaurant.

I have Lived on Pietermaritzburg for nearly 40 Years. Over the last couple of Years this Resturant has come up in conversation as having good food awesome service. But some some strange reason and through no fault of the owner or his advertising i was always under the impreation that it was a little to rich for my blood. Until... More

This is the oldest surviving independent restaurant in Pietermaritzburg. I like this place for the atmosphere and the friendliness of staff. It is not fine dining but good solid fare. Never had a bad meal and have gone there multiple times. Americans might be surprised with their hamburger however as it seems closer to a meatloaf sandwich to me. It... More

This is one of the oldest and best restaurants in town. It withstood the test of time. Excellent, friendly and efficient service. The prices are competitive and the servings very generous. Healthy and vegetarian options available. The food is delicious. Parking right outside the venue is a bonus. This restaurant is well worth a visit.

I often have business meetings here and the food never disappoints! Apart from the very outdated decor there is nothing to fault on the service, quality and value for money!

We have been going there regularly for a few years and have always been very happy with the food and the service. Mushroom soup to die for and their fish dishes are excellent. Quiz night is just so popular and too busy so we've decided to give that one a miss.

Not a pleasant experience. If I wanted something that looked defrosted from a i&j packet and passed onto a plate I wouldn't leave home. Quiz night is fun but the food is greasy and tasteless. I don't know if the other forms of cooking are utilized as it seems the only thing that is used is the deep frier to... More
