Casual come-as-you-are suburban restaurant that serves splendid Thai and Japanese food and Sushi. It has an open verandah facing the car park and a small seating area inside with aircon, which is great in summertime. Tables have dark green tablecloths and napkins which gives a sumptuous feel to this little place. This is our go-to restaurant whenever our group has... More

Ive been to Green Mango so many times but was lucky to be taken out this week for my birthday to Green Mango. I love the sushi and the Japanese fusion udon noodle soup with tempura prawns. Its my absolute favourite meal in Durban. The staff are friendly and get the job done. Yum!

This restaurant never fails to deliver excellent service and food. We have been here on a number of occasions and still rate it the best for Sushi - we say Sushi because this is what we eat when we go there so not discounting their other food. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is really great too. Well done -... More

Three of us had dinner there a few days ago. All our food was first class. A very pleasant and efficient waiter attended to all our requirements and presented top class service. The food arrived timeously and was all VERY tasty.I have generally always had good food and this was no exception. Keep up the good work, we'll be back sooner... More

This little restaurant has some really good thai food and the sushi is also good. It can get crowded and noisy, but the atmosphere is nice. Its not pretending to be something fancy or elegant and has its own atmosphere. Its good food in a fun atmosphere. I liked it.

They were open on a Sunday evening (many places are not), but initially gave impression they would really prefer we hadn't come! Food average, but not the sort of place I'd put on my "must return here" list.

Had our annual friends year end dinner at Green Mango... Food was awesome and reasonably priced and waiters were very helpful and accommodating especially considering we were a large rowdy bunch! Awesome awesome

Had lunch here on Sunday. Haute starter Thai platter. Lovely spring rolls and really nice peanut sauce. Didn't really like the satay. Also had some salmon roses, salmon was amazingly fresh and lovely. For mains, we tried the some fish green curry and glands noodle salad. Not a very flavorful curry and he fish tasted like it was fried separately.... More

Had lunch there last week. We tried the vegetarian and duck as main options and platter for a starter. The spring rolls were quite tasty. Veg dish was great and duck a bit salty but on the whole not bad. Not a big restaurant but the owner was around and seemed to get into conversations with patrons. Only downside was... More

A good lunch-time venue for Japanese and other Asian dishes, both hot and cold. Our choices of sushi, vegetable tempura, beef teriyaki and a spicy Thai beef salad were all good, with the salad a standout dish consisting of tender beef, gently stir fried, with fresh, crispy salad ingredients and a sweet and fiery sauce. The restaurant itself is small,... More
