Trendy, arty restaurant and bar in Durban's vibrant Berea. Been around for years and years. Great cocktails and food. Near to many other clubs and bars too

Maybe I and our table of 10 are too old - we ate well, great menu, good food - couldn't hear a word from our guests!!! Maybe that is a great venue to take people you don' really want to communicate with!!! Service again could have been a bit sharper - Why become a waiton if they are so damed... More

I didn't attend during a normal evening - there was an art exhibition on when I was there - but it isn't anything amazing. A great street-side vibe if you're young and trendy but if you're looking for a relaxing night out with your loved one this isn't the most intimate or private place you can find in Durban.

The BBB was recommended for its continental, relaxed atmosphere. The service was extremely slow, even waiting for the check took ages. The food was moderate.

fabulous for meeting friends for drinks as they have great cocktails and tappas. The food served in their reatsurant is very disappointing though

This used to be a very trendy place. Now the staff were totally inattentive. We had to go and ask, after waiting a long time, for the menu. The same story with the bill.

We totally agree with Atreides77, we had just as bad an experience! The mezzes were awful, a lot of the ingredients missing, and what was there was either tasteless or tasted strongly of vinegar, yuk!! It's not worth writing a review for these restaurants as they do not deserve the name "restaurant". We enjoy eating out regularly and have done... More

BBB is a Durban institution and a must for me every time. If you are looking for fine dining and quiet stylish place with impeccable service, look for something else. If you are looking for eclectic good food in a super viby atmosphere then this is the place. There is a bar downstairs which gets packed with Durbans beautiful at... More
