King Shaka branch disappointing

Had just eaten the night before at the Suncoast branch. Was happy with my kingklip delight at Suncoast. Next day chose same option at king Shaka branch. Sadly disappointing. Fish was firm and I tried to stay positive but my guest ordered the platter (surprisingly seen in the pictures on TripAdvisor... read more

The food was from very poor quality. The rice and noodles seemed to be a couple of days old, and were off. The fish was average. Most cheap snack bars have better food for a much lower price. The bathroom wasn't clean.

Oysters were buttery and the local wine tasty. Only disappointment was the size of my prawn and calamari main. Great lunch for an airport.

It was my first time eating at a CTFM, and I am sorry to say that the experience left a whole lot to be desired!! The absolute worse sushi I have eaten in my entire life!! It was pathetic! I then had fish cakes, and what a disappointment - they were really not good, although the salad was not too... More

This place has absolutely no atmosphere or ambience. It is pleasant enough, but just an eater. I have only eaten the hake there and it was okay, but that said, I am not a great fish fan. The sweets are delicious and different from the usual run.

We really enjoy sushi but battle to find decent sushi in Durban. CTFM has the conveyor belt so we can watch it being made and can order our favorites. The cucumber hand rolls with tempura prawn with extra chilli is amazing as well as the chilli bean curd. The have great half price specials on certain days and times. Well... More

I usually have a meal at Cape Town Fish Market when I'm in Durban, they do not dissapoint. They always on top of their game. Every dish is tasty, I've tried different dishes with them and enjoyed all of them.

This visit to sushi bar was a shocker. 12:40. 5 sushi chefs and a terrible scarce display on conveyor belt. Restaurant not to busy but building up. Lack of variety not expected from numerous visits. I live far from this restaurant but travel to it for the experience of sushi atmosphere lacking this time. Very disappointing

for fast fish it is just ok and kind of reasonable in price, but you have to add laundry expenses due to poor extraction . the prawns were disappointing , king lip ok, fishcake acceptable . not a memorable meal
