An unexpected gem in a small house....the food was very good, especially the Italian sausage in the dish we shared. Service was good and we enjoyed the piano player, very talented. The bruschetta was different--quite vinegary, probably to mask the tastelessness of early Roma tomatoes.

Both my wife and I had the rib eye steak dinner. The Capone. No taste to either steak. Mine was tender enough...hers was not. The red potatoes they served were dry and amounted to 3 fork fulls. Her angel hair pasta was flavorful but dry. Jason felt bad about the room being so warm he comped the dessert but the... More

Food is OK; service is wannabe, that is, they want to be a good, small town, upscale restaurant, but they have not mastered the arts of customer service or understanding customers. For the prices they charge, customer service is critical to keeping the doors open. Our experience was simple: we were only the third table to be seated on a... More

My husband and I were greeted cordially by the pianist, then the manager asked if we had reservations, to which we replied, "no." We were seated near the front door; in the late afternoon, with the sun setting; bright glare occurred each time the door was opened, which was unnerving. The server was very nice, and the food exceptional; I... More

The building and atmosphere aren't the greatest I've ever had, but the food is. The building is an old house that has been made into a restaurant, so it has a different feel than most restaurants. BUT THE FOOD....amazing. The Sophia Loren (Chicken Florentine) absolutely will not disappoint (I'm not normally a chicken guy, but I can't believe how good... More

Wow! What a find. Everything was perfect here. We arrived on a Wednesday night at 6:45. The genera manager, Jason warned us that he could seat us right away but food would take awhile as a party of 25 had just placed an order. We were not in a hurry so we're not bothered by the wait. We shared a... More

Having read other reviews we felt confident of a nice evening out; unfortunately this was not to be the case. A warm welcome and a menu that looked authentic enough with a good choice of wines was a promising start. It went downhill from there. Although the restaurant was not busy we had 3 servers - including the Maître De'... More

Who would have thought that the most incredible Italian meal ever would be here. Everything I had was first class from the appetizer (Escargot) to the main course (veal Marsala). My wife's meal was equally spectacular from the spinach salad to the sea bass. Our waiter Kenneth was very efficient and took care of all our needs. He also has... More

Thank you Trip Adviser for a great recommendation! This is a welcome gem in a land of fast food! The atmosphere, wine selection, and authentic Italian menu rival any big town restaurant. Enjoy, and hope to see you next year!!
