Great road trip find

Amazing ice cream, prices, and service featuring a great location right in front of the Amtrak station. Skip the chain restaurants and go here!

Off the beaten path, but better ice cream than Baskin Robbins at a much lower price with far superior atmosphere. Given a choice between the two, I'd take Route 66 Ice Cream & Sweets in a heartbeat.

You can't go wrong with ice cream. This restaurant is found in a historic building in Kingman on Route 66. They sell ice cream, malts, shakes etc as well as a large selection of popular candies from years ago. We prefer this shop vs the commercial ice cream shop also in town. Great service, large portions, yummy ice cream ...... More

Excellent service. We got there just as they were setting up but they were very accommodating. We ordered lunch salads. Very fresh and crispy . Just as we like them to be. We also had cheesecake for dessert. It was wonderful and creamy. Great little place to eat inside or out. We chose outside.

The ice cream cones and banana split were great. Home made. Great service. Restaurant very quaint. Has Route 66 memorabilia decor.

We like the people that own the business, and really like the treats. Haven't been thee since they took out the bakery, which was excellent. Well. actually we did go just for ice cream a month ago. Haven't tried the new little cafe that has opened in there. The ice cream is excellent, you get what you pay for. It's... More

We stopped here while exploring old town Kingman. It's in a very historic building with an old wood floor and pressed tin ceiling. Very clean and they sell ice cream, pastry and coffee for eating there or taking away. Some cute bistro tables to eat at there. Nice restrooms. They also sell flavored olive oils and vinegars and you're able... More

As I was sitting there enjoying my sweets, I literally watched the elder man/owner degrading his staff and making crude female remarks to the young clerk. Not really a family place.

On mainstreet, AKA Andy Divine, across from the old railway station on Rte 66. Iced cream parlour layout and tables, many pastries to try to choose from, and delicious coffee.
