Packed with diners, obviously family run, lots of local color, delicious food. Huge portions. Very reasonable prices. The only negative was there were so many people in the restaurant, you couldn't have any conversation with your partner & you heard everything from the tables around you. Next time we'll go earlier and beat the rush.

Good food and prices, the restaurant was clean and staff was very friendly. We are locals and eat there often and a place revisited is worth reviewing

Much like other restaurants this family owns, the food is bland and what they advertise is not what you get. Old stale chips and salsa that is not fit to eat. Anything that is served with shrimp is overpriced and over cooked. We went for lunch while in Kingman with the hopes that it would be better than the Bullhead... More

A great Mexican restaurant, you can taste the freshness in every bite, the decor is wonderful, fresh tortilla chips and salsa as soon as you are seated, a wonderful menu.... Everything was phenomenal... The wait staff and owners are gracious and friendly, the music is fun and Love the hand painted tables....

We ate here on Halloween with activities going on downtown. It was busy, but we were seated immediately and service was quick. We had shrimp salad and chicken enchiladas, both were excellent. They serve two different types of salsa with their chips and both were good. The flowers on the wall look like casket coverings and they are all over... More

Good food, hot tortilla chips, good salsa, very good service, but the singing waiter (owner?) topped it all. Someones birthday a couple of tables away and out came this guy singing in Spanish. Well I might add. Not great, but very good, I will look for it the next time I'm in Kingman.

El Palacio is a very lively and busy restaurant even midweek in October. Despite that the service was good and we were seated promptly. There wasn't one thing our group didn't like from the good taco chips, dips, burritos, fajitas and enchiladas. Prices not too bad either. We tried a few Mexican restaurants along our Rte 66 journey but the... More

Blowing in from Sydney via LA one thing I lusted for was some genuine Mexican tucker. OK, Kingman is Arizona not Mexico but El Palacio is the real deal. We sometimes look aghast at the amount of food put on plates in the US, and this was generous too.. but it was so darned delicious I cleaned my plate and... More

The décor is really neat. I love the old tin ceilings. We should have known when we saw so many people walking out with to-go boxes. The portions were very generous and the menu is very extensive. I had the Carne Asada, my wife had a Salad supremo. Both were excellent. the staff were both friendly and attentive. We went... More

The only bad thing I can say is the awful fake flowers all over the walls. Other than that that you won't find better Mexican food in the area. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Will of course go back!
