We love the food, cost and service at El Palacio. We so enjoy the variety and quality of the cuisine. We have never had a complain. We love their Vegetable Plate with or without meat. Best Chimichunga in the area.

I think travelocity needs a "good" item to check, instead of either "average" or "very good". That being said, I thought it was closer to average than very good, so that's why I chose average. I got some kind of pork enchilada dish and while quite edible and filling, it was too bland for my tastes. I would go back... More

This is the 3rd restaurant in Kingman in the Top 10 on TA that has been a let down and food quality is mediocre. Service great & the drinks were strong. The menu is large and I had rolled tacos and empanada; the tacos were dry and the food had no flavor or seasoning. My husband had a burrito and... More

Tonight's visit was blasé at best. Seems like all the gringos were working tonight - definitely way more Tex than Mex. I'll go back another time when the Mexicans are cooking.

We first stopped here in 1995 or so... most recently on 12/30/2013... We have been 6 or 7 times in between... on trips from north to south... This is a great Mexican place... across the street from the train station... in the old downtown... We plan trips around stops here... for lunch or if stopping for the night for dinner...... More

We're always trying to find a good lunch spot (something besides fast food) when traveling through Kingman and recently found El Palacio. While it's not the best Mexican food I've ever had, it is good for Kingman and what you normally find in this cowboy town. My wife and I each had the Mexian Flag for lunch and enjoyed the... More

The old town atmosphere in the place is better than fine & the staff is quite solid. But the food suffers from the too-much-cheese-Mexican-for-gringos problem that afflicts so many older places in Arizona (hey, I'm from there, I should know!). Still worth visiting while in the area & it's a Kingman stalwart for a reason. But it's no bargain &... More

Very busy place for lunch. Huge menu. I had shrimp ceviche tostada which was unique, very tasty and healthy. Service was excellent. The decor was great.

We decided to take the drive from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon, stopping by the Hoover Dam 1st. As we continued on our 3 1/2 hour drive, we decided to stop in Kingman for lunch, when we came upon El Palacio. We weren't sure what to expect for such a small town but, we were pleasantly surprised! Everything from... More

The food is tasty as it should be. Parking can be a bit troublesome for people with disabilities, if no parking space very close is available during peak lunch and dinner hours. This is not a later in the evening establishment to visit to eat. They roll up the sidewalk at about 9 pm
