Loved it

Authentic traditional American Diner with a great menu. Very nostalgic and full of memorabilia. We stopped for breakfast on the way to the Grand Canyon and was not disappointed with either the staff or the food. A very fun place to visit. Nothing bad to say. What a great find. Had pineapple milkshake. Onion rings were awesome. Staff wonderful. Fun to sit there and watch people get their food. Everyone was pleased. Great place on root 66. Don't miss it.

We make a point of eating here whenever we travel through Kingman. We've been here 4 times over the past several years. Check out the paintings by the rest room - huge Elvis and Marilyn. Great photo op stop. We just enjoy being in this restaurant because of the bright colors and the vintage decorations. Service can be slow on... More

we stopped here on our way from Sedona to las vegas. it was a throwback little diner that my husband claims had the best milkshake of his life. we also enjoyed the burgers. my daughter had the bacon, mac and cheese hotdog which was good too. the onion rings were outstanding. A+ for a cute diner with good food.

The. Decor is fun, the waitresses friendly and attentive and the milkshakes are lovely. BUT... Despite the food order being taken quickly it took more than 45 mins for the food to arrive and then it was cool in places and a very poor, tasteless burger at that. If this is how Americans were served burgers, etc in the 1950s... More

The nostalgia will get you, the photos, posters and other signs. What is really great is the root beer, the never empty glass of their famous, homemade root beer. It was mid-afternoon, and doing some local photography, and just had to stop for a tall glass of the root beer.

I first came here 4 years ago after graduating university whilst on a life changing trip along Route 66. I have extremely fond memories of the place. This year I went on a girls holiday to Vegas and we decided to drive to the Grand Canyon. It was like w déjà vu coming by it again so I knew we... More

I had dinner at this nostalgic diner. I was a bit disappointed by the processed meat in the Turkey Club Sandwich BUT the Root Beer freeze made up for it !! They have their own brand of root beer at Mr D'z and it is very tasty!! The fries were extra special too....

Our family was camping in the mountains, and just about anything tastes delicious in the fresh mountain air...We decided to treat ourselves in town; and picked this place because it was rated Top 10. We thought we were in for a treat ... boy, we were wrong! We ordered a cheeseburger (Mr.D'z signature dish) and it came without the cheese... More

This was our favorite of our stops along Route 66! The food was flavorful, and the homemade rootbeer float in a frosty mug was delicious! The decor reflects an important time in the history of our country, and the service was quick and friendly. Make this a priority along your route east or west!
