The main appeal here was the theme, of course. Food came quickly, was fine. We will return if the other option is a cookie cutter chain; otherwise will try another independent on the Kingman dining list. No problems; just no spark.

We were headed to Phoenix and found this place on Trip Advisor. I'm sorry to say I have to be honest and give this a rating of 2. This is my opinion so I'll try to explain. We were excited to pull up and see the Nostalgic decorated building of Pink and blue on the outside of the building and... More

If you like Rt 66, and enjoy the feel of the 50's and 60's this is a great little restaurant It is located just off Rt 40 in Kingman, AZ. The food is good and the prices are great. Love the atmosphere. A lot of the locals eat here. It is convenient to The power plant which is a museum... More

Stopped by here for breakfast on our way cross country. It was like stepping back in time. Basic breakfast items but we all enjoyed our meals.

Historic diners are an addiction for us that we do not want to be cured of. Each one presents something unique and we like to celebrate the discovery. Mr. D'z is a great stop, in our case for lunch, along Route 66 or any time you're in Kingman. Couple it with a visit to the Route 66 Museum across the... More

Stop by for lunch on our way back from lake havasu, AZ. It's like going back to the 50's. I had the chili dog with onion rings it was delicious. Wife had bacon cheeseburger with fry's. Great service and food was out to us quick.

Authentic retro 50's diner. Great tasty food with generous portions at reasonable prices. Served promptly with a smile. Don't go through Kingman without calling in

This restaurant is across the street from the Visitor Center/Museum in Kingman, AZ. The restaurant is totally like a 1950's diner, which adds to the enjoyment of eating here. Everything, everywhere inside & out is retro. We enjoyed the food and found the prices reasonable. They make their own root beer here which my wife ordered and enjoyed. We were... More

Stopped here for breakfast after a night in Kingman en route to the Grand Canyon, and we did not regret it. Beautifully designed interior following the Route 66-theme and set out like an old-school American diner. Food portions were excellent, and tasted great as well.
