Fun Place in Old Route 66

This was a nice stop on the road out to Phoenix, a very fun burger place with good food and excellent fries. Crowded but they moved us through pretty quickly. Kind of the thing you expect but you're glad when you actually find it!

Very cool 50's inspired diner right on old Route66. Can't get better than that for nostalgia. Best old fashioned milk shakes in town! Great root beer floats too. Burgers any way you can think of and fresh hot French fries. Put your hair in a pony tail and fit right in.

A great place for a lunch break whilst visiting the nearby museums and railroad park and you can watch the trains go by

Upon the recommendation from the owners of the El Travatore Motel, we had breakfast at Mr. D'z. Fabulous breakfast and fun atmosphere with a 50's theme diner. Felt a little like stepping back in time when Route 66 was the only way through town.

I saw this diner on the map when we were looking for food on the way to the grand canyon from vegas. SO glad we stopped here. The staff are so nice and the food was DELICIOUS! Had a burger and chips and was great price for such yummy food. We also had a sundae after... which was yum! I... More

Classic diner (formally a gas station), that plays up the location on Route 66. Food is diner food, with numerous shake/malt options. We came back later for the shakes. They place is fun, food is fine, though they brew their own root beer. Get the frosted mug, not the bottle, mug has refills, bottle is more expensive and no refills.... More

Just had some milkshakes which were really good, but the place looks amazing. Wish we had come back for dinner.

The owner of our hotel was pretty instant that we only eat breakfast there. Dinner, he said, was so-so but breakfast was amazing. So we did breakfast. It was not amazing. I had the Mr. D'z speciality omelet and my husband had the waffle (which he said was very good). The omelet was cooked to being brown-ish and the cheese... More

Amazing hamburger, homemade root beer (wonderful float), terrific young and energetic server, wonderful nostalgic collection to look at in this diner. Will definitely go there again next trip through Kingman on Route 66.
