Neat place for breakfast, lovely old-fashioned diner on Route 66

Mr. D'z Route 66 Diner on Andy Devine Ave. in Kingman is an old-fashioned American diner that is a really neat place to stop for a bite to eat if travelling through this area of the Arizona. We stopped for breakfast and really enjoyed seeing the colourful 1950-60s decor and layout. Lots of old... read more

The decor is funky 50's and the food is fantastic. I had the chili burger which was outstanding. The chili was homemade and really delicious. My wife had a cheese burger and it was big and juicy. I would highly recommend stopping here.

Friendly knowledgeable service. Juicy hamburgers, fresh crispy fries, and homemade root beer. Definitely worth the stop!

Colorful, unpretentious and the best root beer I have ever tasted. Get your kicks on Route 66. Then walk across the street to check out the locomotive park. VB

Kingman is a good stopping place between Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. In the past, we've gone to Cracker Barrel and invariably gotten stuck waiting and waiting. Mr. D'z is a typical Route 66 diner. 50's decor and a typical menu. Breakfast is breakfast. It's kinda hard to screw up eggs, bacon, and toast, y'know. And they didn't. We'd... More

As the top rated restaurant in Kingman my wife and I decided to give it a try. She had the spaghetti and I the cheese burger and chocolate shake. The spaghetti was on par with that found in a can from the 1950's and the burger easily surpassed by McDonalds for three times the price. The ice cream used for... More

I travel almost every week. I prefer visiting local restaurants to experience the specialness of different cities. Mr. D'z Route 66 Diner captures the true essence of traveling Route 66 ( and that comes from someone who LIVES on Route 66 in Albuquerque ). This is a traditional 50's American Diner with the menu to match. The only thing missing... More

I can really make this short if needed: Cute 50's decor and below average food. I had the pepper hot dog which had lots of condiments on it but the wiener was very average at the best. The best part was the bun which seemed homemade to me. I had the fries...very average and the cole slaw...better than average. Maybe... More
