This is a lovely restaurant, with good food and service. It has atmosphere with a big choice in seating for family or corporate groups and privacy for couples without anyone feeling crowded. A new Baobab branch opened in Wonderboom Junction and its food and service was excellent. Even the presentation of the dishes are 5 star quality. We really enjoyed... More

This used to be one of our favorite places to eat. The last number of times the service was not as sharp as always. Food has also deteriorated a bit and the decor is starting to show its age. On a positive note, it still offers one of the best outside dining areas in Pretoria with amazing views at night!... More

A very large menu of meats, fish, pastas and salad made for a tricky selection. Very friendly atmosphere with excellent staff and tasty meals. Large portions and excellent meal.

Ribs as tough as leather. Not the quality im used to at Baobab. I have noticed that quality has been compromised on my last two visits.

Baobab has an excellent menu, with a great variety of dishes. The service at both the Wonderboom Junction and Menlyn restaurants are very good, and the waiters are trained well.

My wife and I go to baobab like once a month. We always have a good experience there. The food is always good and we really enjoy the atmosphere. Their biltong and mushroom soup is one of the best soups I have had in a restaurant.

What an overrated place! Are Pretorians blinded by the large portions of bland food? I don't get it. * my friend ordered marrow. No seasoning whatsoever. And R40 for boiled bones? Come on Baobab! * I ordered biltong tempura. I thought how innovative. I asked what kind of biltong they used because I couldn't see how biltong shavings could taste... More

I booked a table at Baobab and they were very helpful and professional with everything. The food was really great, and our dishes were prepared perfectly and is also very tasty. It's not the cheapest restaurant ever but it's well worth it...and is ideal for special occasions.
