I was ther for dinner. Actually the service is very good and the place very nice. I had fish meal that was not very tasty and well cooked. The starter of calamari was good and the desert on the average. Maybe it is better to go there for having some drinks. May be the meat plates are better as well

Eastwood branch. My meal was served with a salad of old lettuce with brown edges, soggy old tomato and onion. That's it. The exact same meal at Groenkloof was served with a fresh decent salad which included olives and feta. Totally unacceptable especially at the rip off prices! Also my cocktail was insipid and stingy. I called the manager who... More

Our guide took us here for lunch when we were visiting the area and he made a great choice. The food was delicious and they have a wide menu - anyone can find something they would want. There were so many things that sounded good it was difficult to choose. Our guide indicated that everything is good as he takes... More

Here one may sit outside and dine al fresco or enjoy a meal inside. The menu is not particularly stimulating, and the fare rather ordinary. The grilled chicken peri peri which is supposed to be a hit in this place was quite disappointing - no spicy skin grilled crispy brown to perfection but soft and soggy. I would not give... More

Great food and great service, parking was ok too lots of parking guides :), we ordered spaghetti and penne pasta, both really tasty, carrot cake as dessert with good coffee made the night complete.

Cafe 41 is a chain and this review is for the Eastwood Village branch. First of a positive: being in Arcadia and opposite the US embassy, Cafe 41 is the meeting spot for diplomats, politicians and NGOs and therefore feels quite vibrant. This is about all it has going for it however. Having eaten here twice, the food has been... More

If you have an educated palate don't go there. My 3rd visit and thee food is always terrible. Ordered fillet and onion sandwich. No flavour paper thin meat overcooked and soup like gravy poured over. Manager half asleep saying she is sorry but that's it. Waited long for the food and ordered a cappuccino which arrived cold. We paid and... More

Had lunch here more than any other location in Pretoria. Menu has just about anything on it, food was excellent and portions are generous. I never had a bad meal. Staff was awesome! You can't complain about the prices.

Piet from the Melvin Residence in Pretoria recommended Cafe 41 to us. It was a good recommendation. Food, and service were both excellent and pricing was very reasonable. I particularly enjoyed their pasta dishes. We ate here several times.

The restaurant is spacious and quite eclectic in its décor - modern chairs with woven plastic backs and vintage silver teapots blended into a trendy feel. The food was delicious - we had Moroccan Lamb chops with chick-pea stew - delicious but enormous portions - 5 chops (although small) was a LOT of meat to eat in the evening. For... More
