On the eve of winter 2014, we had the most WONDERFUL dinner at Brasserie de paris. Accommodating, friendly staff and of course exceptional food. Dished out a hefty R360 for the set menu. Worth every penny. If you do visit, notice the beautiful architecture of the house. 5 star all the way

All the hype, very little of everything else. Staff is not up to par and for the price of the food one could get better at other upmarket restaurants.

This is the first time we have been back to Brassier de Paris in 10 years. How disappointing. We waited at least an hour for each course. Rossi was oily, I had a sole which was over cooked and soaked in oil. At R 180,00 a plate I would of expected something better. The best was the chocolate fondant which... More

This is a great dining experience, everything just right from the time you walk in. Very polite greeting, great table service, not crowded, limited but very good menu and the server was fantastic. We had specials of French Onion soup and Sole, both very well prepared, well presented and extremely tasty, we enjoyed it.

I chose this restaurant a year ago, to celebrate our engagement and my wife's birthday. We did the 5 course degustation menu with wine pairing and enjoyed it so, that we repeated it a year later in April 2014. We were happy to find that there have been no price increases since last year. Its an intimate setting, with a... More

Set in a residential house built of concrete (which was modern 30 years ago) this French Restaurant has been serving excellent French inspired food for 21 years. Not romantic or intimate setting unfortunately. But always fabulous food. The wines and service just as good. We were there for lunch and I believe dinner is more intimate and romantic.

My wife and I had a tad bit of a disappointing experience. Following the hype, we made a reservation with high hopes. The night turned out to be quite disappointing, considering the price one has to pay. First things first, there are no parking and we had to park outside in the street. Inside, we were allocated a table next... More

We entertained 5 guests to dinner at Brasserie de Paris this passed weekend .All the guests decided to have the Degustation menu. The food was superbly paired with the wines and beautifully presented . Table décor was stylishly simple and we enjoyed the privacy of the private dining room looking out onto the lush garden However, management should train the... More

I first visited when I had a Stylish Bachelor's Party here in '09. Subsequent I have been able to source quality items from them. But after all these years I finally got to treat my wife for her birthday with their Degustation menu. Everything was top notch! From the booking, special requests and the food... Stunning!!!! As a Chef myself... More

We went for our Anniversary to Brasserie. It was our first visit since their move to Waterkloof. The special atmosphere was gone as were any sight (or sound) of Management. On arrival at a restaurant of this calibre, reputation and price one expects to be greeted by a Manager or the like. No such luck here. A clutch of waiters... More
