Amazing building

A new experience for us as regular visitors to Pretoria. The restaurant is situated in a stunning 1930s modernist building in Waterkloof. Only a limited number of tables (approx 10) in intimate settings (perhaps a bit dark as it's a bit hard to read the menus in candle-light). The service was... read more

Accidentally found this restaurant. Superb food authentic French services friendlier than French architect house Karl Jooste. All excellent

This was our first visit to this superior restaurant in Waterkloof, Pretoria. We had a lovely romantic dinner, the food was excellent from the canapes to the utterly delicious chatteaubriand fillet. Expect to pay upwards of R180 for a bottle of their cheapest wine, oops. Good option for a once in while special occasion.

Our first visit to Brasserie de Paris was a few years ago - and finally we made it back. We had a lovely Valentine's dinner and really enjoyed the romantic set up. When making the booking, I was advised that there will be a 5 course set menu (choice between two mains though) and that we would have to pay... More

I have eaten at various superior restaurants that offer a fixed menu but have never been asked to pay upfront for dinner. I booked a table at Brasserie de Paris for Friday, 13 February. I received a mail today that enquired if I will be settling the invoice as not settling it will result in the cancellation of the booking.... More

Stunning atmosphere, in a great architectural setting. Very relaxed, with a classy feel. Food was tasty and service professional. We had a really great time. Will definitely go back.

We had a business dinner with clients. A closed basement type room was available, where we could do a presentation and dine in private. Service was good, food was absolutely fabulous, especially the chocolate volcano desert! Good wine selection. Price is in the high range, but definitely a venue classy enough to treat business clients or for special events.

We visited Brasserie in July shortly before Bastille Day to celebrate our French heritage, and as a consolation for not being able to go to France. And what a consolation it was! Although the menu is limited for vegetarian diners, the food on offer was wonderful and beautifully plated. Brasserie has a gorgeous collection of local wines that you won't... More

A dinning experience not to forget easly. A restaurant that will blow all your taste buds in a happy mode. The architect style is diffrent but the atmosphere is excelent. The music soft and a perfect fit to the french venue. A wine list with a big variouty from SA and the world. Becareful can be pricy. The food to... More

Have been to Braserie de Paris a few times, always try and fit it in when I am in Pretoria. Some of the best food I have ever been served. Karl Jooste House is also great for the Architecture Enthusiast. Highly recommended if French cuisine is something that you like.
