I recently visited Fumo for the first time. The Pizza was made with great ingredients but the middle was sadly raw...Service and ambiance was good though...

A lovely experience and great fresh food always well attended by the owner and his attentive servers.

I had an awful experience at this restaurant. I cannot even give it one star. I ordered 2 take away Regina pizza with extra basil and feta. I paid R190.00. This is supposedly an up market Italian restaurant. I expected more than a fast food pizza for the price charged. One pizza was what I ordered the other nothing more... More

We had a business lunch about a month ago at Fumo and thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant boasts an upmarket and lively ambience and the setting and décor is beautiful. Seating is also provided on the large balcony. The service from our waiter was hands on, friendly and unobstrusive. We all had the special of the day (fish) which was... More

Convenient location, safe and easily accessible. The restaurant itself, however, is very loud with poor acoustics - difficult to follow a discussion if you're more than 4 people at the table. The atmosphere is, at best, mediocre - with a large TV-screen being quite a nuisance. The food was good, especially the pasta. But seriously overpriced - for South African... More

Service was attentive but not over bearing. Food was excellent quality and pasta and fresh pizza was fantastic.

Its a bit of an enigma Fumo, it tends to lean towards being overly swank and can make you feel a little uncomfortable. Make no mistake I enjoy a classy restaurant just as much as a comfy coffee shop but cant say if I really enjoyed the place.

Heard good things, highly rated but we found it just average. Average food, average everything. Maybe we just picked a bad night, kids running around didn't really suit our romantic idea. Could be nice on a quiet day...

Had lunch at Fumo with my husband on Saturday 9 August 2014. We started off with the Parma ham and buffalo mozzarella foccacia which was fantastic. I wanted to order the Ragu pasta of the day, unfortunately it was not available, I then opted for the roasted duck. The duck was good, however I found the portion to be rather... More

Unlike many of the reviews on this site, I found Fumo very overpriced, unimpressive décor and lack-lustre service. It would be wrong to say all the food is bad as I decided to leave after the starter. It really wasn't worth spending the rest of the meal there. Sadly I probably wont return to prove myself wrong!
