We had a previous bad experience at another Adega branch and the head office was kind enough to give us a complimentary voucher to rectify the situation. That in my opinion is a very good indicator of a company that knows of keeping your reputation intact. We enjoyed a great lunch at Adega Bryanston - the restaurant was packed and... More

We dropped by one Friday evening with friends, and were very pleasantly surprised. Great ambience, excellent decoration and an outstanding menu. This restaurant has become much more of an upmarket establishment. Broad wine and whiskey menu. Within an hour the restaurant appeared fully booked inside. We opted for the evening buffet, which in my opinion, was probably the best buffet... More

Food was tasty and well presented. Yet the Waitress had difficulty understanding me - even though I spoke English. Not once did anyone visit my table from a management point of view - In actual fact - They sat all night behind a counter.Did not even bother to acknowledge me or that fact that I had taken the time to... While we chose NOT to eat the Sunday buffet which is VAST and VARIED and looked wonderful and smelled delicious - I watched with fascination as the young couple next to us filled up plate after plate with freshly prepared prawns, chicken, etc etc as it reappeared on the buffet. As for desserts... I'm glad I was not loading their... More

The food is amazing, I go there every month! 1. The prawn platters with rice are incredible. 2. The chicken is outstanding 3. Parking can be a nightmare as there is a popular spot in the same complex. 4. The food is well priced.

My lady friend has a most terrible experience here Management were utterly disinterested in her distress perhaps I should pause here wise to think conjecture on my part Suffice that I and many of my friends abhor Adega So to be fair there are 3 sides to a story You will of course come to your own conclusion

A bad experience, very poor service. Kingklip was dry, cold and awful. Complaints to the waitress fell on deaf ears. Never again.

It was my first visit since the restaurant relocated and what a lovely surprise. The place is smaller than before, but the food is as good as ever. Warm atmosphere, tasty food, big portions, very affordable. Our waitress was very professional. Cannot fault them at all.

We visit South Africa regularly and always make a point to end our trips with a lunch or dinner at Adega. It has moved from Bryanston Shopping Center, but other than the loss of a great view, it is still the same fantastic place. Great food and solid service. We always order the Queen or King Peri-Peri prawns. A South... More
