As the grandson of the late esteemed Enrico Pilotti of The Carlton Johannesburg I was choked up by a dining experience that Enrico would have applauded. The welcome was inviting, the ambience warm & the service attentive but not intrusive. The food is genuinely top class Italian and highly recommended.

Find the owners lacking interest. food leaves a lot to be desired. Cats running around the restaurant. Deli nice, but that's as far as I will venture again.

Tortellino is consistently good. Prices are a reflection of authentic and freshest ingredients. Food is sublime. Service is always friendly and attentive. This is a family business, mama and papa and their daughter run the place. It is very popular, always rather book ahead, esp for Sat and Sunday lunch. They serve traditional but innovative Italian food, always very tasty and not too much oil or butter. Try the fennel salad or the sole, or the veal, the food is great!

The pasta dishes here are delicious. This family run restaurant serves up real rib sticking food. The portion are good although I found them a bit pricey. Service was good.

Best italian food in Jhb - at a price. View is not great but service and food are exemplary. Try the warm tuna salad - my fave.
