After a long week at the office I stopped there for a late lunch/early dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness of what was placed in front of me. Service was good and the waiter had an excellent knowledge of wines which I appreciated. I only had a platter (or 2) or various dim sums so cannot comment on... More

Koi sets the bar to which I measure all restaurants. The sushi is incredible every time. The place is always full and the restaurant has a great vibe. Can't miss this one.

We were a group of 8 and generally all were very satisfied with their food. One person sent back his steak which was medium instead of the ordered medium rare. It was replaced without any complaint althoug I thought the complaint was maybe a bit spurious. My wife and I both had springrolls for starter and it was very good... More

I thought the food was deliscious and the service was great! I asked my waiter what the most popular dishes were and i took his advise. I had the prawn puff fried dimsum and the duck main with the pancakes. Yummy Koi was Mooi (nice)! We sat on the veranda that was closed up and had heaters going to keep... More

This is the first time I have been to this place, the booking they had was all mixed up and wrong, finally we got a seat, the music was loud and terrible, I asked them t turn it down which they did for a while, the waiter did not have a clue what he was doing, the food was severed... More

Koi is quite pricey by SA standards. However, the seared tuna is out of this world. Their salads are also good. At night, the restaurant has a nice vibe. It's also nice to dine outside in the summer. It's a great restaurant to do a business lunch or supper in, as one is never disappointed, both food or service wise.... More

First time visiting Koi in Rosebank. I was so looking forward to good asian food. Ordered some dim sum which looked like been made by a machine and not hand folded. It was good though. Asked the lady who were fetching our plates some recommendations. Peking duck with pancakes. This was such a fun and duck was cooked perfectly. The... More

It is all nice and well, but the bill you receive at the end the meal is just too expensive to justify the meal you've just had. The cocktails are not great and drinks are just as over priced as the food. I can't fault my meal, it was good, but I'd rather visit Dopio Zero opposite from Koi!

The restaurant was crowded for a Thursday. Very popular for good reason. The sushi was excellent. Enjoyed the cocktails as well. Definitely would go back when I am next in town. Probably need to make a reservation though as it was very popular.

Pleasant location and decor. Food fine, although expensive given the quality. Service disastrous, even on a quiet day - we were a large group and the restaurant was half empty. Slow, forgot things, did not put much positive energy in. Koi Sandton has always been better, over many visits.
