This restaurant is very small and easily missed, but it has great food and quick service! Don't miss the Navajo Fry Bread!

If you don't pay attention you will miss this restaurant. It doesn't look very attractive from the outside, but the food you get makes up for this! The 2 guys running this restaurant do a great job despite the fact that all tables were taken.

We were on our way from Monument Valley to Canyon DuChelly and didn't know where to grab something to eat. I saw this restaurant out of the corner of my eye and did a quick turn into it. We just took a chance because we were really hungry. There were a lot of cars in the small parking lot, which... More

After reading the reviews, we had to try this place. Both my son and my husband got the navajo tacos (his was a mini, but only just barely), I got the posole with fry bread, and my daughter got the tamales. The food was excellent, and SO MUCH that we could not finish it all. Definitely go here! Very friendly... More

This is a wonderful little place, but if you're not on the lookout for it, you may miss it. Be sure not to do that! Amigo Café is great and it looked to me (not a local) to be full of locals. Make sure you get the Navajo Taco. And get a box!

We were driving from the Grand Canyon to Monument Valley and stopped here for lunch. I agree with the other reviews that say not to let the outside put you off. The food is great and the service is prompt and friendly. We enjoyed the Navajo tacos, tostadas and tomales, all of which were tasty and fresh. It is easy... More

My family and I spent the afternoon in Monument Valley and of course got hungry. We quickly looked online for a good place to eat and saw good reviews for Amigo Cafe. We literally went thru the door of amigo cafe at 8:55 PM not realizing that they close at 9 PM, but the workers welcomed us with open arms... More

Mexican food with a Navajo twist, this place gives you a chance to leave the road and meet some of the people lucky enough to live in this beautiful area. We had lunch sitting next to the Vice President of the Navajo Nation.
