Pleasant surprise

So we were on our way back to Las Vegas, Nevada from the Four Corners Monument. I was disappointed at Four Corners that the Indian Fry Bread place was closed. It seemed like fate that I found this little restaurant in the middle of no where that happened to serve Fry Bread! Not only fry bread... read more

My family and I spent the afternoon in Monument Valley and of course got hungry. We quickly looked online for a good place to eat and saw good reviews for Amigo Cafe. We literally went thru the door of amigo cafe at 8:55 PM not realizing that they close at 9 PM, but the workers welcomed us with open arms... More

Mexican food with a Navajo twist, this place gives you a chance to leave the road and meet some of the people lucky enough to live in this beautiful area. We had lunch sitting next to the Vice President of the Navajo Nation.

Don't let the outside of this place turn you away. Had Navajo taco and loved it. Kids had tamales and ate everything!! A must stop for lunch

The place is small and fairly basic. It was packed and is apparently popular and staff were accommodating. Decent food and large portions but still average.

The food at Amigo Cafe is over the top wonderful. I had the lunch enchilada special, Christmas style. I couldn't decide which sauce I enjoyed more. The enchiladas were delicious and cheesy perfection. The beans were the best I've eaten. The rice was perfect. Amigo Cafe was a splendid surprise.

We both had the combination plate with an enchilada, tamale, taco, bean tostado served with beans and rice. All was delicious, and the waiter was very nice and friendly as was the other staff in the restaurant. Definitely a good place after a... More

Cute restaurant in the heart of Kayenta. We had dinner there one night while staying at The View Hotel. The food was delicious! Would stop again if we are in the area.

I always like to eat at local restaurants; and, always consult TripAdvisor for the comments of other travelers. So, while in Kayenta my wife and I ate dinner at the Amigo Cafe. The food and service are good. We ordered the Navajo Taco and pork pooled and enjoyed the food. I'm a pretty good eater; and even I didn't finish... More
