Worth the wait - be patient

This is the restaurant I mentioned in my Hampton Inn review. We did have a long wait at this restaurant - for the seats, the meal, the appetizer, etc. The service, however, was friendly, and apologetic. They apologized for the wait. The food, once we received it, was worth the wait. My kids ate both... read more

Nice and quick service, friendly waitperson. Healthy food that tastes pretty good and reasonable pricing. I wish I could drink beer, but overall it was good restaurant!

We ate here while staying at the Hampton Inn -had the best Navajo taco ever - fresh ingredients and light fry bread. The shrimp appetizer was really great too, spice just right. Lena our server was fantastic, kind and helpful. As others said, no alcohol in Navajo Nation, tried the non-alcoholic wine - not my fav. Kids liked the burger... More

My husband had the fish and chips and is still talking about how good it was and its been over two weeks ago. I had the special dessert, which is ice cream, apple pie filling and whipped cream on crispy flat bread which was so delicious I would eat that every day if I could. Lena, our server, was very... We really enjoyed the freshly prepared traditional dishes, attention to detail and staff who made you feel you were an honored guest. The chef also personally comes to check on each table and ensure you are enjoying your meal. Try the Navajo taco or even better, the sheepherder's sandwich, which is fantastic! Love that fry bread!

This pretty little restaurant is tucked inside a Hampton Hotel, not a usual dining place, in Kayenta, Arizona. Service was slow but cheerful, and the food was excellent.

The food was surprisingly good for a hotel restaurant. We both had the green chili stew, one of many foods that attempted to appreciate the local Navajo culture. The dish was accompanied by a while roasted Anaheim chile and fry bread. When cut up, the chile was an excellent addition to the already-flavorful stew. The fry bread was not cooked... More

We spent the day at Monument Valley and checked into the Hampton Inn at dinner time. It was a great option to eat right at the Hampton Inn and not have to go anywhere else. Very little nearby, mostly fast food. Service was on the slow side and it was disappointing that alcohol was not served. Food was quite good,... More

There aren't any other restaurants in Kayenta so if you're staying at the Hampton you might as well eat here. Our meals were actually quite good. I had a portobello burger and my husband had a green chili stew with Navajo fry bread. The fry bread was the best part of the meal. Don't expect any alcoholic beverages with your... More

It's in the Hampton Inn, so is not perhaps the easiest place to find, but it's worth it!. The menu isn't huge, but we enjoyed the Native aspect and components to many of teh dishes and for fairly late in the evening, it was pretty busy, which is always a good sign. Our server was a lovely young man, the... More
