Elephant Walk Restaurant is the new home of Mauro's Restaurant in Port Elizabeth. Located in the country, on the outskirts of Port Elizabeth. The food is simply delicious! Every time! The wine selection is outstanding. There is no reason to drive into Port Elizabeth for a meal - but there is every reason to drive a bit out of Port... More

The general impression of the venue was that it was dreary and unwelcoming .The service tended to be slow and the quality of food was not all that good .

We took the time to drive out to elephant Walk for an evening meal with colleagues from my husbands work and were treated to one of the most fantastic meals yet. Mauro, the chef, took the time to explain some of his delicious meals and the descriptions were so good that you could almost taste the food before it was... More

A small restaurant away from the rush of the city that is located in a quiet country setting. Good service, tasty food with a choice of sitting indoors or outdoors. There is also a wine and gourmet shop, curios and an antique shop. Great place for a breakfast on a Saturday morning!

Mauro Nettle has taken over here and has really put his stamp on the place. Our meal was superb, the service excellent and the pricing appropriate. We will be regulars at this wonderful establishment. Quality Italian Cuisine is served here

If you're looking for a small restaurant away from the madding crowd, in a quiet country setting with good service, tasty food and a choice of sitting indoors or outdoors, this is a really worthwhile option. It is outside of the city, (about 20km) but near enough to get there easily without having to contend with frustrating traffic. There are... More

My food was just Ok, my wife's was tasteless. Would not reccomend a return for the restaurant, it is relatively cheap but not good food or good service. Wine and gourmet shop and environment are nice though that is why I am giving an average instead of poor.

I love going to Elephant Walk - in fact, a Saturday morning breakfast there is about the best start to a weekend that you can get! Not only is the food in the restaurant great, but the ambience is just out of this world - the air even seems different and the birdsong that much sweeter! The animals are welcoming... More

what a great place to visit, Elephant Walk for fine country cuisine. Nadia and Natalie are running a fine establishment, wonderful Belgium Mussels, tender Fillet steaks. During the day, you can amble through the satellite shops, curios/ antiques/ jams/ vegetables/breads/ furniture/ plants.....too many to mention
