Lively location and decor

Just popped in to see it and have a drink. Great service from the friendly staff and the menu looked very exciting. We must definitely come back. The location right on the lagoon and beach makes it an ideal place for late afternoon relaxing.

Lemon Grass is almost on the beach! Views are over the sandy beach towards the mountains in the distance. Parking is right in front of the restaurant and the entrance to the restaurant is easy to access ... though not so easy to find. Seating is designed to create an inside-outside feeling. The outside area is covered by a big... More

This is a wonderful restaraunt in a fantastic position on the estuary. Super views all around. Lovely old colonial style house. We went with friends who had been there several times. It has a varied menu to suit all tastes. Superb tasty food, well cooked. Try the snail starter, fantastic. Service was excellent . Can't wait to go back!

We had a late lunch at Lemongrass yesterday. I had just had an accident in a boat and hurt my foot, and we were on our way to see a doctor but decided to grab a quick bite. We were served by Danielle who was an absolute star. She organised a bucket of ice for my foot and generally looked... More

We expected quite a lot from Lemon Grass, and the unimpressive décor took us aback. We had booked in advance and asked for a window table, but ended up in the second line. Clearly the two guys in football shorts and vests who ended up sitting in front of us had more influence 😊 Still, we could have been at... More

Not the cheapest place in town but the matured steaks cooked to order make it worth the visit and my waiter's wine recommendation was spot on and not the most expensive on the wine list..

We ate here on our last night in Plett and, having worked our way round various restaurants, we thought we'd got the measure of the local food scene. The Lemon Grass totally blew our expectations out of the water. Easily the most delicious meal we ate here. Don't let the fact that there's a hotel attached to the restaurant put... More

Eating at The Lemon Grass was perfectly fine experience without being memorable. We were staying in the attached hotel and changed our reservation at the last minute and this was dealt with seamlessly. As has been mentioned the food has Thai accents but this is not a Thai restaurant. In keeping with its location, the emphasis is on fish and... More
