This was our first visit to Two Dogs and so had no idea what to expect. The setting is great when it gets dark looking over the Putt Putt lights below. All our starters were excellent without having to wait that long. My wife and I had the pork fillet which had generous amounts of meat and a very tasty... More

As a local, we often dine at Two Dogs, most often in the company of friends. The menu is always interesting and offers a goods selection of meat and vegetarian options. The restaurant itself is new and modern with a scenic night time view of the surrounding area. The service levels remain excellent too!

Two dogs has a limited, but apparently regularly changing menu. We enjoyed the food, although it seemed to be sometimes too much about presentation and not enough about the actual food itself. A good example was the "tempura prawns" which ended up only being two prawns that were nicely presented and that were not even in proper tempura batter. Most... More

Ambient setting and freshly cooked food is the order of the day at this restaurant. All the mains are good. Avg wine selection.. enjoy it all the time wish they would introduce some ale beers also. Always a pleasure

Although the fillet steak was clearly the "recommendation" as we were not that hungry we ordered a selection of all the starters to share. Wonderful livers, arancini, prawns and Thai fish cakes, everything was tasty, delicious and beautifully presented. Together with a bottle of bubbly and excellent service, an overall great evening!

Have not eaten at the new premises, but feel a review in order, as we have recently eaten at a few other highly rated restaurants and have not had the quality food as served at Two Dogs. Each time we visited everyone in the party said it was the best meal they have eaten in East London

We went to dinner here last night and were pleasantly surprised at the venue and the great view. My filled steak was lovely. The chef very kindly made me a gluten free pepper sauce, a first for me in East London as usually the waiters don't know what I'm talking about. He had the pork belly which was very tasty.... More

My favorite restaurant for good food and wine in EL, although there isn't much of a view. The menu is small but changes regularly depending on season. The fillet steak is delicious.

The Two Dogs is a small restaurant with really good cuisine that you would expect to find in bigger cities. The menu is small but caters for all tastes. They have a wine and beer selection that rivals many. We went with friends and had a truly enjoyable evening with well presented cuisine in portions that were not too small... More
