Description: The Mile High Grill and Inn sits atop the Jerome hill on Main Street in the old Clinkscale Mercantile building, built in 1899. Opening in 2004, we have made many renovations while trying to keep the old focal points and uniqueness of the original architecture. We aren't hard to find with our beautiful red building and black and white awnings! Feel free to grab some lavender from our herb garden located in the front window box!The Mile High Inn is located above the Grill and accessible through a separate entrance, though all check-ins are done at the Grill. Here you will step back in time with the Victorian styled Inn with high ceilings, original oil paintings and most importantly, the cozy, comfortable beds. It is a great spot to have a romantic getaway. Oh, and if you feel (but can't see) a little something rubbing against your ankles, don't fear! It's only Skipp, the ghost kitty.

My husband and I had a great breakfast at this restaurant on a Saturday in mid Sept. We had to wait to be seated about 10 minutes. We were there by 9:00. The staff worked very hard to get people seated and orders taken. We thought the food was very good as well as the service. If you stay in... More

It opens early and the food was great. I got the oatmeal and it was the most unique breakfast I'd had in a while. It was baked and loaded with blueberries. Highly recommended.

We were just walking up and down the street of this quaint town and decided to go in. The burgers and sandwiches were great. The breakfast menu looked good too. We were sorry we were not able to have breakfast there.

Jerome is such a cool place to visit. This place is great-try and get seating towards the front of the restaurant as there are big windows overlooking the fantastic view across the valley. Food was tasty-we had burgers, I had extras eg avocado, my husband had theBig A** burger-says it all. Menu had range of choice, fish, Mex, grills etc.... More

A group of friends did a motorcycle ride and we went here for breakfast this morning. They did a nice job handling our group of 9 and the young lady waiting on us did a great job. They were attentive with coffee and follow up...above and beyond. Great attitude about the group and even splitting checks. (much appreciated) The food... More

Overall great experience. We took in breakfast on our weekend head out of town on Sunday. This establishment for breakfast crowds up fast after 8 AM. We both had the Hog omelet, loaded with meat. Hard to eat though since the bacon and sausage etc were not cut up, they just lay inside. Recommendation, place more cheese on top of... More

We had the veggie sandwich on flatbread & club sandwich on wheat bread. Both were great. The best seats are toward the front & you get to enjoy the views out of the window. For example, we saw some old guys on motorcycles with helmets with viking horns on top. Absolutely hilarious & the guys seemed to know it &... More

We had 2 breakfasts there. The pancakes were the most amazing we EVER had; they ere the lightest and incredibly fluffy and delicious!! The staff was soooo friendly and accommodating. Egg omelets were scrumptious and perfectly prepared . The chef came out and spent time with us. This restaurant would be a welcome addition to New York‼️

Good Experience. Drinks came right away and on a hot day, which were in the nick of time. We, my three children and I, were not attended to by just one person but by 4 throughout the course of our stay. Very attentive, jovial and everyone enjoyed their meal. By the way, we were there during a full house and... More

Fun fact: the building was built to the very corner of the lot and is the corner of a mining claim. I had a delicious soup and some yummy crab cakes. There is a fudge shop a couple doors down that had some of the best dark chocolate fudge I have had.
