The Mile High Grill and Inn sits atop the Jerome hill on Main Street in the old Clinkscale Mercantile building, built in 1899. Opening in 2004, we have made many renovations while trying to keep the old focal points and uniqueness of the original architecture. We aren't hard to find with our beautiful red building and black and white awnings! Feel free to grab some lavender from our herb garden located in the front window box!The Mile High Inn is located above the Grill and accessible through a separate entrance, though all check-ins are done at the Grill. Here you will step back in time with the Victorian styled Inn with high ceilings, original oil paintings and most importantly, the cozy, comfortable beds. It is a great spot to have a romantic getaway. Oh, and if you feel (but can't see) a little something rubbing against your ankles, don't fear! It's only Skipp, the ghost kitty.

Good food/ fun

We made a family trip to Jerome with cousins and parents. Great drive from Phoenix and decided to eat here based on referrals from friends. Food was good, and service good, considering how busy they were. Burgers were excellent.

Was visiting Jerome whilst staying in Sedona and needed a quick lunch so we popped into the Mile High Grill. There was a wait and as we were about to walk out another patron who was leaving suggested that it was worth the wait (thank you sir!), so we stood at the bar and tested some of the local brews... After wandering around Jerome for hours visiting all the neat shops, we were ready for some lunch and found ourselves outside the Mile High Grille. It is a small and eclectic place with lots of old signs and pictures on the walls. The menu is diverse and has something for everyone. Our waiter was willing to make suggestions and helped... More

Best spot for breakfast in town (unless you're staying in the B&B Surgeon's House). Always packed, good selection of local brews on tap, excellent variety of selections.

We ate breakfast here on our last day in town, it is several months later now while I write this review - and my mouth still waters when I dream of the delicious Salmon Hash we ate here. Inviting atmosphere, kind staff, delicious food. It would be a mistake to not stop here for a meal.

After waiting far too long to eat lunch due to a late breakfast, the snippy comments had started to fly from both sides of the rental car , we ended up at Mile High at approximately 3:55 pm. Turns out that is 5 min. before they close for the day , i`m not sure if they are just great human... More

Great atmosphere, good food, reasonable prices. We bumped into some locals who directed us here. Clean place, nice food options. No complaints! I'd go back no hesitation

We live in the Verde Valley and had to decide where to eat lunch. We finally decided on Vaqueros in Jerome -- one of our favorite towns. We arrived and found Vaqueros closed for remodeling. Wow. We went in to the Mile High and ordered a burger and onion rings (along with a couple of ice cold beers!). The burger... More
