Description: The Mile High Grill and Inn sits atop the Jerome hill on Main Street in the old Clinkscale Mercantile building, built in 1899. Opening in 2004, we have made many renovations while trying to keep the old focal points and uniqueness of the original architecture. We aren't hard to find with our beautiful red building and black and white awnings! Feel free to grab some lavender from our herb garden located in the front window box!The Mile High Inn is located above the Grill and accessible through a separate entrance, though all check-ins are done at the Grill. Here you will step back in time with the Victorian styled Inn with high ceilings, original oil paintings and most importantly, the cozy, comfortable beds. It is a great spot to have a romantic getaway. Oh, and if you feel (but can't see) a little something rubbing against your ankles, don't fear! It's only Skipp, the ghost kitty.

We had read about Jerome, and decided to stop in as a slight diversion from our trip to Sedona. Glad we did. Very good, fresh breakfast, wide ranch of options. The town itself is a step back in time, and of course, the views are wonderful. Nice staff, good food, glad we went.

We stopped in on our way to Sedona. It was a Saturday evening and there was a singer/guitar player who was quite good. We were seated next to 2 of Jerome's finest. (Cops know where the good food is, right?) We ordered the Frequent Flyer Burger which was big enough for 2. The side of corn and black beans was... More

After leaving Sedona and heading back to Scottsdale to go home, our trip to Arizona sadly over, we stopped by Jerome that used to be a copper mining town and now is a virtual ghost town. It is a little trendy place now and it being Saturday, had quite a few people walking down the streets and in the cute... More

When visiting the tourist town of Jerome, AZ, there are plenty of restaurant choices and I've been to several of them. Mile High is a stand out in my mind. The food was not only good, it was beautifully presented in this quirky little restaurant. The meals we selected had interesting flavor combinations, not your run-of-the-mill burgers, though I imagine... More

Fabulous onions rings...just order em' w/ great sauce. Little spicy sauce for those that like Prilosec...take one first. Had the Sliders and a few beers. Recommended by the server. Great choice. Alaskan ale. Decor is fun, clean. Place was full...even with the snow. Service was perfect and attentive. Large parking just below restaurant if none in front, free. Would of... More

Every time I come here it has the same staff. They always make me welcome. The food and drink are pretty darn good too. If you are looking for American cafe cuisine in Jerome, then this is the place for you.

We were in Jerome during the NYE snow storm. We were going to go for lunch at Grapes but they were closed so we decided to give Mile High Grill a chance. Well I'm glad Grapes was closed......we LOVED everything we ordered. We started with the fried pickles, I was a little skeptical at first but they were delicious. We... More
