Description: The Mile High Grill and Inn sits atop the Jerome hill on Main Street in the old Clinkscale Mercantile building, built in 1899. Opening in 2004, we have made many renovations while trying to keep the old focal points and uniqueness of the original architecture. We aren't hard to find with our beautiful red building and black and white awnings! Feel free to grab some lavender from our herb garden located in the front window box!The Mile High Inn is located above the Grill and accessible through a separate entrance, though all check-ins are done at the Grill. Here you will step back in time with the Victorian styled Inn with high ceilings, original oil paintings and most importantly, the cozy, comfortable beds. It is a great spot to have a romantic getaway. Oh, and if you feel (but can't see) a little something rubbing against your ankles, don't fear! It's only Skipp, the ghost kitty.

We go to Jerome several times a year but, for some reason, had not had lunch at the Mile High Grill & Inn until today. Fantastic hamburgers, excellent soup of the day, and very good sweet potato fries, and good coffee. It was a great lunch stop. Everyone working there was super friendly and attentive. It's nice to try different... More

Wow, we had chicken fried steak for breakfast - it was the best I've ever had! Large portion, I couldn't even finish!

Three of our party of four had the baked oatmeal--steel-cut oats with nuts and fruit accompanied by cream and a walnut brittle that was really yummy! My husband had a huge omelet served with excellent crispy potatoes and obviously baked-in-house whole wheat toast--more yumminess! The made-in-house berry jam, also sold in jars, was just delicious. The coffee is thankfully very... More

On 10-31-14, after exploring outlying areas of Jerome, I arrived here just as they began serving lunch at eleven. Located in a lovely old building, I can also vouch for them serving a lovely big hamburger, which I devoured along with French fries and root beer. Having eaten little since the previous morning (and a full day of strenuous Red... More

After walking around Jerome for over an hour and a half, we were very hungry. The Mile High Grill looked crowded, so we figured it must be good food. I got the Prime Rib sandwich which was not very good. I could tell it had to have been left over from the day before. I should have gotten the burger... More

A friend recommended we visit Jerome on our way to Sedona. It was early so we were looking for a place to eat and just "happened" by this restaurant which looked crowded. For us that's always a good sign. We were not disappointed! This was the BEST meal we had during our visit to Arizona! We had an omelet which... More

Really one of only 2 breakfast spots in Jerome. The family and I had Eggs Benedict, Blueberry pancakes, Omlets with breakfast potatos, hash browns, and all the traditional fixins. Non of us left hungry and it was all awesome!

We had a group of six and we were starving! The first thing we noticed was their were other waitresses having their breakfast. Our waitress Shawna was so super wonderful and got all our orders perfect and when we were leaving we noticed another waiter and the cook eating.. That is always a great sign. I would highly recommend this... More

After reviewing reviews on TA, we decided to try this grill for lunch. Busy Saturday crowd but got the last table too close to the kitchen. Enjoyed the food though - had burgers and green chili pork stew which kind of like a soup.

Great breakfast. Service was wonderful...staff friendly. Good Bloody Mary. The homemade jelly was excellent! Great way to start your visit to Jerome.
