The Mile High Grill and Inn sits atop the Jerome hill on Main Street in the old Clinkscale Mercantile building, built in 1899. Opening in 2004, we have made many renovations while trying to keep the old focal points and uniqueness of the original architecture. We aren't hard to find with our beautiful red building and black and white awnings! Feel free to grab some lavender from our herb garden located in the front window box!The Mile High Inn is located above the Grill and accessible through a separate entrance, though all check-ins are done at the Grill. Here you will step back in time with the Victorian styled Inn with high ceilings, original oil paintings and most importantly, the cozy, comfortable beds. It is a great spot to have a romantic getaway. Oh, and if you feel (but can't see) a little something rubbing against your ankles, don't fear! It's only Skipp, the ghost kitty.

Girls weekend trip.

Wonderful experience and wonderful staff! We stayed in one of the rooms above the grill and it just a word to the wise if someone is traveling with a young child....you will hear them! That was the only thing that we could complain about. The breakfast that comes with the room is the basic... read more

Loved this place - great staff and fantastic food - I had the smoked salmon omelette and my wife had the bread pudding French toast - both were delicious and well worth the trip!

Restaurant has two rooms, one with a fairly large bar. Seating is comfortable at both booths and tables. Greeters and servers are friendly and efficient, seem to be leisurely but things move fast. We were most impressed with the kitchen's skillful use of herbs and spices. We started our late lunch with their delicious soft, fat pretzels with mustard dill... More

Stopped by for a Lumberyard Beer but spied the homemade potato chips appetizer on the menu. Served an incredibly big basket of them with blue cheese dressing to dip them in. Delish! Next time I was thru Jerome I brought a friend to share them.

I can always look forward to a great lunch at the Mile High Grill. Had a wonderful burger and cheese curds today. The Mile High burger is the best in town! I also love the fried pickles and the fried cheese curds. The service is always great as well.

My wife and I stumbled up on Mile High. I'm glad we did. The breakfast was great and they go out of the way to make sure everything is right. Great atmosphere too.

We stopped in at 11:01 craving pancakes and they told us we missed them by one minute. The place was pretty dead so that was odd that they couldn't make an exception. However, we did stay and really enjoyed our lunch! The cheese curds were amazing and the sauce they come with is out of this world!! The waffle chicken... More

We enjoyed a nice breakfast here. The place was not very busy, and we were treated as a special couple. There was an extensive menu selection, and both of our meals were very good.

We went to this restaurant on a Saturday which is a busier time in Jerome than weekdays. We had only a short wait, then were seated. Everyone there, wait staff, bartenders, host were beyond friendly and accommodating. This was a very hectic and busy lunch time visit, and we were treated with the utmost in friendliness and respect. No one... More

On our way out of town in the morning my husband and I walked over for a quick bite before hitting the road. With such an extensive menu we ordered full breakfasts instead of the bagel we came for. I had the traditional eggs Benedict which was great and hubby had a combo of eggs, hash browns and bacon. The... More
