Description: The Mile High Grill and Inn sits atop the Jerome hill on Main Street in...
The Mile High Grill and Inn sits atop the Jerome hill on Main Street in the old Clinkscale Mercantile building, built in 1899. Opening in 2004, we have made many renovations while trying to keep the old focal points and uniqueness of the original architecture. We aren't hard to find with our beautiful red building and black and white awnings! Feel free to grab some lavender from our herb garden located in the front window box!The Mile High Inn is located above the Grill and accessible through a separate entrance, though all check-ins are done at the Grill. Here you will step back in time with the Victorian styled Inn with high ceilings, original oil paintings and most importantly, the cozy, comfortable beds. It is a great spot to have a romantic getaway. Oh, and if you feel (but can't see) a little something rubbing against your ankles, don't fear! It's only Skipp, the ghost kitty.

Just ate breakfast here one time. Excellent food better than your normal breakfast fare. Well presented and delicious dishes coupled with great service. Highly recommended.

We were in Phoenix and my son told me about Jerome AZ, drove up on a Saturday morning, what a great drive. Well worth it but very busy on weekends! I had looked at the menu before we got there and I had the Dirty Birdie Verde.........AWESOME! We were greeted right at the door and what an eclectic town and... More

The food was okay but the service was charmless and ungracious. I do not appreciate having a table cleared when one person is still eating their meal. It is not somewhere to which I would ever return.

We parked on the lower level, not realizing what this vibrant mining own held in store. By the time we explored our way to the top, we were hungry. Other restaurants had been suggested, but this one had character... and the posted menu spoke to us. Everything sounded interesting. Even at that, it was difficult to make choices. I finally... We scooted over from Sedona to check out the old copper mining town of Jerome and thought we'd start off with breakfast. We found the Mile High Cafe which was really great with atmosphere! I had the Make a Pig Omelet which was great with lots of mean tucked into it with a generous portion of cheese and home fries.... More

The vibe is upbeat and the service is excellent. The food was good. The bar is double sided. Good location in Jerome. Daily specials offered. It was a nice place for lunch.
