Unbelievably good

Decided to take my wife here on our first night in Jerome because it was connected to our hotel; and a storm was fast approaching Jerome. I could not have been happier that we ate here. The wine selection is one if the best of seen in Arizona. The service was beyond good, and the view of the whole... read more

Had the table at the window. Watched severe thunder and lightning storm roll through. Awesome light show to go with great food. A lightly pricey but the portions are huge. Very comfortable. Recommend making reservations and if possible dit by the window. The serving was perfectly spaced out to to allow you to eat, enjoy and digest. Recommend this place!

This interesting restaurant is located inside of the "haunted" Grand Hotel in the adorable village of Jerome. The view of the valley is worth the trip alone. I was a bit skeptical about the food at this place because the decor and carpeting seemed so dated...it just felt very old in the space. However, we both ordered salads and everything... More

My friends and I took a "girl" trip and ended up in Jerome. Why not try the Asylum for lunch? It was an amazing experience! The cocktails, lunch and service was top notch. Great view and I can not wait to take my husband here!

The food is marvelous -- especially the "tad-spicy" butternut squash soup. Getting there at odd hours can be good because you might have a better chance of a window seat. Sunsets from the restaurant can be marvelous. There is a small gift shop on the ground level. However, when we went on a Sunday in April, our waiter was re-assigned... More

We strolled up pre dinner when the place was empty except for a table of 4 outside having cocktails and sat outside in the garden ourselves with a great view of the distant valley. This is a higher end establishment in Jerome where quality food and service would be assumed. After 5 minutes plus when no one appeared I went... More

Although I have lived in the area for 18 years, I had never been to The Asylum. I am very happy that I ventured up to Jerome for dinner. Set in an old hospital (the bedpan at the check-in table could go), this was a great meal. Lisa, our server, made the evening. Our meal was excellent. The included salad,... More

We were in Jerome & thought it would be fun to eat at a place called the Asylum. The food was amazing & the waitstaff was very friendly! Ask to sit at the window if you can, the view was amazing! It is up on the hill in the Jerome a Grand Hotel.

Went their for dinner. It is located in an old hospital from the mining years and is now a hotel and restaurant. The staff is friendly and answer all your questions about the history of the building and town. We sat by the open window and had a great view of the town of Jerome. Access is by a single... More

This was the best meal we had while touring Arizona! The duck breast was exceptional, and the soup phenominal! We sat by an open window, with a spectacular view. Do not miss this unique restaurant!!
