We found ourselves in Jerome on a recent late afternoon and decided to continue site-seeing and stay for dinner. Our daughter was visiting from the mid-west and we wanted to finish the beautiful day with a nice dinner so we went to the Asylum Restaurant. Big mistake. We ordered their signature squash soup which was highly spiced, but thought that... More

I don't even like squash, but I loved this soup! I also love the atmosphere - dimly lit and intimate. Excellent views from the tables close to the windows. Superior service by staff as well. A must visit for your trip to Jerome.

We had a very nice meal close to Christmas, and the place was decorated to add to the ambiance! There was a sunset view as we arrived and we walked off our meal in Jerome.

We arrived for lunch and told the host we're a party of 3. He said to give him 5 minutes for a table. We waited for several and when a table was supposedly ready, he said it was only for a party of 2 and that it would be another 30 minute wait. We decided to eat at the bar... More

We ate dinner here twice when we were in Jerome for Christmas. On Christmas day they were the only game in town. Any day reservations are recommended, but they are very happy to help you make them. The first night we had a great waitress who was very attentive despite being busy. The food was very good (though be aware... More

High at the top of the hill, we braved deep snow and ice to dine there. I had the Sea Bass, my wife ate the chicken with chile sauce, my friend ate shrimp pasta. All food was very well presented and very good. I was impressed. The wait staff were extremely nice as we have an infant child which makes... More

We spent a day in Jerome and Camp Verde and a few in Prescott but this place was our favorite restaurant! You must try their artichoke appetizer and their butternut squash soup. I am not a squash fan but it was fantastic and is apparently made with a local beer which does something special to the flavor. They have a... More

Everything about this restaurant is fantastic. The view from the dining room spectacular! The butternut squash soup is fabulous. A great place to eat with the kids or just with your someone special.

We enjoyed climbing the hill to this historic place for lunch. The building has the perfect vibe for Jerome... slightly creepy but in a good way. It reminded us of the Grand Budapest Hotel from the movie. The staff is friendly and our waiter was awesome. We ordered sandwiches (burger, pastrami and the veggie sandwich). They were all very good.... More

I felt the need to come here because, well of its name. Someone suggested the food was too expensive and to pop into the bar and have a drink to at least see the place. Even though it was a Friday night the vibe was pretty boring. The bartender was not particularly friendly. It took us quite a bit of... More
