We decided to venture over to Jerome during our Sedona vacation. Got a recommendation to try this restaurant. The food was very good, but a bit over priced. Good service, nice views of Jerome from the restaurant. Overall, good experience.

We had a lunch there on a cool July sat afternoon out in the patio. Amazing view of the Verde Valley. Loved the history of the hotel. It used to be a hospital. The food was good and they had a great craft beer selection. This is a great place to take out of state visitors.

Brought my relatives here, who loved the quirkiness of this older building and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Service was professional, friendly and timing great. The three of us all choose a different meal- steak, lamb and duck - really a combo and everything came out perfect! Amazing for such a combo. Hats off to the Asylum, chef and staff!... More

My daughter and I were staying at the Grand Hotel and doing the Ghost Tour at 6 pm. We had intended to eat dinner after the tour but changed out minds and walked into the restaurant a little past 5 pm. We didn't want to overeat so decided to share the Chilean Sea Bass. We began our dinner with a... More

Nice ambiance, but menu was over-priced and lunch menu not too good. Service is good too. They need to have more items on the menu and work on the price.

I have eaten lunch here three times. The big draw for me is the view. I always sit on the porch so I can look out over the valley. It's quieter than eating downtown where there are more tourists. The food has always been excellent. The driveway to the hotel and restaurant is a little out of the way and... More

The Asylum Restaurant had great ambiance and is in a beautiful, historic building. The atmosphere was great. The servers were very attentive and personable. However, the food was just alright. I certainly expected more of the cuisine. We also had called ahead to see of we needed to make a reservation and we were told that is would be a... More
