Excellent service & food!

I was so pleased with not only the food but the outstanding service. The servers and general staff of the cafe were welcoming and answered many of the questions we had regarding its ghostly inhabitants something I'm sure they have to deal with on a daily basis. FYI the chipotle turkey sandwich... read more

We went to Jerome this past weekend, we wanted a good meal with a view, The Asylum came highly recommended. We arrived at appx. 2:30 p.m. and were promptly seated, unfortunately it was all down hill from there (no pun intended:) For starters, there are NO starters unless you want soup or salad. My mom ordered a BLT, I ordered... More

We stopped here for lunch with another couple and their 2 dogs. This restaurant is part of the Grand Hotel which sits way up on the hill looking down over Jerome and the valley. We sat outside on the patio and so enjoyed the beautiful view. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive to us as well as the... More

First off, the food was great. I had a steak and my wife the bass. Also, most of the staff were great - both the table attendant and our server were outstanding. The only down-side for us was the bartender. She was aloof and also made us pay for our initial drinks before leaving for our table which is not... More

Amazing and breathtaking views! The food was very good! The staff was very helpful! Had both lunch and dinner here! If you go at lunch try and request a table at the window. We were not that fortunate but were able to get some lovely pictures!

My family followed the scenic route from Scottsdale to Sedona, which took us through beautiful Jerome. My kids were intrigued by the ghost stories surrounding the hotel in which The Asylum is located. It is pretty hard to get TO the hotel -- the entire town is built into the side of a mountain, so the narrow, switchback roads are... More

If you go to Jerome, you must make a stop at the Jerome Grand Hotel. And please have a meal at the Asylum Restaurant. The food was delicious during our lunch visit, and you cannot beat the view. If you like all things haunted (like I do), then this is the place for you. The hotel has a very interesting... More

We started our delicious lunch with a couple of bloody marys with just the right kick. The spicy chicken salad was filled with lots tender chicken. We highly recommend the butternut soup (the recipe is posted on their website). The wheat bread served on the side was fresh and tasted homemade. Contrary to other comments, we felt that the prices... More

After spending the day in historic Jerome a local friend took us to The Asylum for lunch. We opted to sit outside on the deck and take in the beautiful view from up above the town. It's beautiful with a nice breeze to keep you cool. They have simple lunch fare of sandwiches and salads but a good selection. I... More
