Great for appetizers and vino

The Asylum is a wonderful old establishment. It has been featured on Travel Channel television and has a certain other-worldly charm. The food is good and atmosphere is excellent. It has an excellent, attentive wait staff.

we heard about this restaurant from the fellow travelers. It tool us 45 mins to drive from Sedona to Jerome, but it was worth it! the restaurant is located in the hotel on the cliff with the wonderful view of the mountains and the valley. The food was gourmet, i wish the chef uses less hot pepper. The roasted squash... More

Too expensive, not worth it! My family an I went there just to check out the rooms see what there like we couldn't because we had to pay 30 dollars each. Bartender smelt like he had just smoked pot out in his car.. Just didn't like the way we treated all around.

What???? The decor is old and very dark and extremely tired. The restaurant and grounds are not clean or well cared for. The view out two small windows during the day is amazing but if you are not seated at the two tables directly in front of those windows you would see little. The food is fair but pricey and... More

Getting to this particular restaurant was a little tricky given it was raining and gloomy that day, but it was so worth the effort. We were given a table near the windows and when the rain stopped and the sun came out, we were treated to a spectacular view of the mountains. I ordered the chicken alfredo, which I rarely... More

We really enjoyed our meal at the Asylum. There were nine of us. We had reservations for 7:30 on a Friday nite. A table was ready, but we were told that if we could wait a few minutes more they could get us a table with a great view. It was well worth the 10 minute wait. View was awesome.... More

The food is worth the trip up to the top of the hill. The menu isn't extensive but what they serve is above average for the area. The hummus appetizer was a meal. The butternut squash soup was excellent.

This is an old hospital turned restaurant. It smelled a little musty and weird and I was concerned about the food but it was delicious!! We were able to sit by the window so our view while dining was just breathtaking! A fun place to visit.

Went up to the top of the hill in Jerome for a before dinner cocktail. Was informed that no happy hour available at this hotel bar. Had a drink anyway getting a draft beer and house wine. $18 latter visited the hotel. Nothing special here. Much better choices on Main Street including the Conner Hotel.
