This was one of the best in-restaurant meals I've ever had and was an all around good experience! We're from Northern Arizona and one of my favorite places to visit is Jerome. It's a great weekend-trip destination (or day-trip), filled with art, friendly people, and fabulous views. I've stayed away from The Asylum in the past because of the menu... More

We read a newspaper review that led us to this place. Being close to Halloween, they were really in their element. The town of Jerome was not to impressive but this was a nice find. Great views of the valley and the food was outstanding.

Set in the grand Hotel of Jerome, once a TB sanatorium turned hotel is a must if you are looking for lunch in Jerome. We sat outside and it provides fantastic views from one of the highest points in town. The whole place is themed to emphasize the spooky and weird aspects of this old ghost town. The food was... We had lunch at the Astylum during a day trip to Jerome. We ate on the front veranda which had an amazing view of the town below. Again, the food was fabulous and the service was excellent! The restaurant sits at the top of a very steep hill and is attached to the historic Jerome Grand Hotel which was at... More

Don't give up! The Asylum is located in the Jerome Grand Hotel, and it's WAY UP AT THE TOP OF THE TOWN! There's a one-car-width dirt road that leads up to it, and you have to wait your turn to be the occupant. BUT IT'S WORTH IT! You HAVE to see the view from up there. We've been to the... More

We stayed at the Grand Hotel so we decided to eat at The Asylum. If I was rating it on only my dish I would have given it 1 or 2 stars. I had the bruschetta appetizer and the vanilla bean crème brûlée. The garlic on the bruschetta was so strong I was still tasting it the next day. I... More

Great view! The place is creepy but that is the theme. Our waiter reminded us of a butler in a horror movie. We went for lunch, the food and service was excellent. It is on the pricey side, but the view was well worth it. Perfect time of year to go around Halloween.

Went up here from Sedona on recommendation from a friend. The place is a bit creepy, but that is part of the hotel side selling point. One of the best meals I have had in Arizona. Everything was absolutely amazing. This was a girls trip. We tried the beef filet, the pork tenderloin and the sea bass. All were great.... More

Food is amazing! Service fantastic! Views of the Verde Valley at sunset can't be beat. Great wine and good selection. Did I say the food was amazing?

My wife and I recently stayed at the Jerome Grand Hotel for 2 nights while on vacation. We had dinner both nights at the Asylum restaurant. We both were very pleased with our meals both nights. Dan waited on us both evenings and did a wonderful job serving us. We both enjoyed filet mignons the first evening. They were cooked... More
