We visited The Asylum on May 15th and 16th while staying at the hotel. The first evening we only had late night appetizers as we were not that hungry. The cheese plate was pretty good, but I was not impressed with the calamari. The calamari was adequate as it was only what I would describe as "silvers" of calamari and... More

check in my room around 11am, and looked around awhile and decided to have something to eat and the asylum had the best burger and fries above 5000ft and everybody was nice and asked if I was going on the ghost tour that night and I was. but the food was excellent.

The food is the Best...for dinner we had the Chilean sea bass, what a treat. Also, for lunch they have a delicious vegetarian sandwich. The view cannot be beat and when you finish indulging in a wonderful meal, you can stroll around the town and take in the shops and the historical surroundings.

We spent the afternoon visiting the GREAT town of Jerome which is a diamond in the ruff. Then went up to the Asylum Restaurant which is on The Grand Hotel and had a wonderful experience! The food was great, the service was perfect and the ambience was historical! It really is worth the drive from Sedona (30 minutes) to check... More

Situated above Jerome is the interesting and pretty Jerome Grand Hotel. And situated in the Grand Hotel is the Asylum Restaurant. Great and friendly service, great food and drinks (with names befiiting a restaurant called The Asylum). It's worth a wait for the window tables because the view is fantastic. Have the Butternut Squash soup!

We were seated at a window table so we had a great view of the entire valley from our table. The service was fantastic as well as the food. I had sea bass and my husband had a vegetarian dish. Both were excellent. Everyone at the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend the restaurant as well as a... More

Dining Experience: The restaurant offers fine dining in Jerome, a ghost town revived by an artist community. There are many tables which offer a beautiful view of the Verde valley. I had the Char Broiled Chilean Sea Bass with a poblano chili-chardonnay lemon butter sauce. It was incredible. For dessert I had some 20-year-old-port. Flawless execution. An appropriately spooky waiter and the best pastrami sandwich in ages. We scored a window seat with panoramic view old Jerome!

Perfectly cooked duck breast and Rock shrimp pasta. We love the spicy butternut squash soup and the nice wine list!
