Nothing too exciting

Stopped in for dinner on a Sunday evening. The salad bar items were almost depleted and no one could seem to figure out how or when it would be replenished. I was excited to try the Navajo taco but it turned out to be rather underwhelming. The rest of our food was rather average Tex-Mex fare.

My husband and I ate here while visiting. The food was not good at all. I had a green chili burro and a red enchilada and my husband had a red chimi. If you do go here order the red chili.

I was directed to El Rancho late one evening by a friend at the local fairgrounds. He sure steered me right! This is a very nice, friendly informal place with good food served fast. I went back again on my return trip and everything was equally pleasant. I plan to make this a regular stop when I'm lucky enough to... More

We were very disappointed with our meal here. We visited as a family of 7 while travelling Route 66. We shared some appetisers which were ok, but looked like frozen food that had been deep fried. The salad bar was very poorly stocked. My daughter had ordered unlimited salad bar as her dinner and had very little choice, really poor... More

Don't let Veronica serve you!! It's Mother's Day, we drive to Holbrook for a one-day trip from the Valley to surprise our mom and take her out to eat. We were a party of 13. Our waitress, Veronica wasn't friendly from the get-go, took our order but no silverwares, ignored us for 20-30 minutes NOT stopping once to check on... More

We stayed at the Wig Wam Motel nearby and were sent here by the desk clerk. It was fairly late at night and we were greeted warmed and promptly served very good Mexican food.

On our last stop, we had just spent 11 days in New Mexico. And where were the best sopapillas? Here at the El Rancho in Arizona! My husband had a bowl of green chile and sopapillas (super tasty!) and I had the stuffed sopapilla, which I just love. It is filled with ground beef, onions, and beans, and smothered in... More

Steakhouse with an average menu. Located on the outskirts of town, it isn't hard to find. My steak was OK but not really excellent. However, best in town,

I have to tell you, this is by far the best place in town to eat breakfast. Why? They will talk to you, always smiling, and the coffee never stops. We like our coffee and after spending 2 weeks in Arizona, this is the only place that gave you all the coffee you want. Food is good too! Great service!... More

Food was nothing extraordinary, but okay. Good service and pleasant atmosphere. We ate there because it was within walking distance of our motel. I would, most likely, choose a different place to eat next time.
