Wow, yeah.... not so much.... I'm in line with the reviewers who are surprised by the high trip advisor rating.... The place was dirty, not kept up at all, the food was below average, and the prices weren't any lower than other restaurants in town. The staff was nice.... but our waiter was a little overly friendly to point of... More

I tried this place the other night based on my fellow trippers reviews. I want to know what most of them have been smoking! Yes this place is full of nostalgia , but it is dirty and not kept up at all. I personally do not like to eat where they do not embrace cleanliness. The place is a mess... More

Joe and Aggie’s turned out to be a great choice. A Mexican café with lots of atmosphere. It wasn’t too busy when we went in so we had a chance to chat to our server. Just about everything on the menu was Mexican style food – and it was great. Everyone cleaned their plates. It did start to get busy... More

I agree with Hillary M and everything she said about this Cafe. The food was more than adequate and the prices just right. The 5 of us (including 2 hard to please grand kids) ordered something different and all the plates were cleaned. The whole staff was friendly and attentive and we had a great discussion about the movie CARS... More

We had delicious food and fantastic stories from this family diner. I loved my tamale plate, and my husband's huevos rancheros were fabulous. Do not deny yourself the red chile or the opportunity to meet this family.

I wish I could give 0 stars! This place is horrible! The restaurant is grossly dirty! We ordered our food and one person got the smallest taco seen by man. It was soggy, and only lettuce! The small piece of chicken associated with the taco had been boiled! My friend and I shared another dish....hummmmm.....never knew that food could come... More

If you or your kids are in to the movie Cars and you want decent Mexican food, you have to go here! They have all sorts of Cars memorabilia plus many hand drawn pictures from John Lassiter himself who would go to Joe & Aggies and spend hours talking to the owner, Alice. She is the one who said "they... More

Food was pretty good, service was okay, but the flies were insistent on us sharing our entre. Probably won't visit again...:(

I went here on a recommendation of a local. I asked where a good Mexican restaurant was, and he told me to come to Joe and Aggies - the oldest Mexican restaurant in Holbrook. Finding the place is easy - bright pink with a huge mural of Route 66 on the side of the building. Looking at the mural, I... More

If you like green chili, get the huevos rancheros. We stumbled across this place accidentally four years ago after visiting the petrified desert. Next time we'll stay in Holbrook (on our way to Colorado). It's a good halfway point, and we love this restaurant. It has character and is a genuine throw-back from the route 66 era. Don't go if...
