Great little cafe on Route 66

Good food. Friendly service. A nice gift shop. Great mural on the side of the building. My friends weren't mad for the coffee, hence only 4 out of 5. As a tea drinker I really liked the place though. A real slice of America/ Route 66.

I ordered enchiladas. They were the worst I had ever had. The place is dated and dirty. Plus they only have wine and beer. There were 2 good things. The owner is very nice and the green chili is excellent. If you need a place to eat in Holbrook, go to a chain restaurant. We have tried to find decent... More

We stopped for dinner at Joe and Aggie's Cafe and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and great "Cars" memorabilia, which we understand was given to Joe by John Lasseter since Joe was the inspiration for the Stanley character in "Cars-The Movie." Aggie's recipe for green chili sauce was delicious! A fun cafe along old Route 66!

Was lucky enough to sneak in just before closing after a long drive from Phoenix area and owners were so welcoming rather than annoyed! Friendly chat, some more family history and how it related to Disney's CARS...(the first one....you MUST see that first before travelling in this area through to New Mexico!!! ...not the second garbage one!!!!)..... This is a... More

Wife and I were traveling back to NC from Phoenix using I-40 and decided to stop here for lunch. Had read lots of (Trip Advisor) reviews that this place was not much on outside or decor inside but "to die for food". Disappointed to say that we found the (mexican) food okay but nothing out of this world. Wife had... More

My wife and I were staying at a local campground and asked the owner about a good place to eat dinner. He recommended this restaurant and I am glad that he did. The restaurant is not fancy and its décor is dated, but it was clean and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. According to the owner this restaurant... More

We enjoyed our stop at Joe and Aggie's. It is a real route 66 experience, serving local favorites. The food was good. The service was fine. If you enjoy quirky, not mass produced experiences, check it out!

Firstly I am extremely surprised by the high rating this cafe received on trip advisor, I felt more comfortable to eat street food in Cambodia than in this cafe! The place was filthy from floors to tables, cutlery and glasses. The food was disgusting and poor quality, I order French Toast for breakfast and on my second slice of toast... More

We had a fun breakfast at Joe & Aggie's Cafe, just by happenstance choosing this place and then learning that owner Joe himself was the inspiration for Stanley in Pixar's "Cars." Service was extremely friendly and it is fun to see the "Cars" memorabilia sent to Joe by John Lasseter, who spent lots of time at this cafe in preparation... More
