People were friendly and they served a real home breakfast. I ordered pancakes and when the syrup was brought to the table, it was in a metal container that looked a little dirty on the outside. My husband had eggs, sausage, and hash browns. He said it was fine. It was filled with Route 66 memorabilia and was a quaint... More

The food is nothing to write home about but it's fine and kind of beside the point. The point is its historic place in the lore of Rte. 66 and the fact that it's now being run by the granddaughter of the founders, Joe and Aggie. They've got guest books going back years and I was able to find my... More

Tex-Mex style menu. The breakfast burritos were huge and awesome and the staff were very friendly. Popular spot for some motorcycle tours.

This place is a tiny lil dive diner in Holbrook, AZ, which is bound to be a spot on your road trip to or from Phoenix on Route 66. The staff was friendly, the food pretty average depending on what you order. Grand Canyon Sunset Amber Ale the local beer was the highlight for me. The grilled chicken sandwich and... More

Had some of the best Mexican food I've ever had here. Also had unbelievable salsa with the chips. Glad we stopped there on our cross country trip.

After staying the night in Holbrook Joe & Aggie's café was a good place to fuel up for the day. Breakie and coffee were good and the hospitality was warm and friendly.

Decided to eat here on the basis of Trip Advisor reviews and it didn’t disappoint. The diner was old fashioned and full of Route 66 memeorabilia. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed our meal which was simple but filling (actually there was too much to eat)..The owner talked to us about the link to “Cars” and asked us to... More

For a small mom & pop place, Joe's has a unique atmosphere. Just ask the local's where they eat out and this place keeps coming up. The food is outstanding, not what you would find at the big chain restaurants. Staff is friendly and talkative too. Prices are good and portions are large. When we are in the area, we... More

3 out of four loved their meals! We needed a fly swatter though. But don't let that discourage you as it is a fun place with fun people. Sat beside an ancient local couple that I wish I'd taken a picture of!!!!!

Traveling Route 66 is not like it use to be. The part we drove is an Interstate completely devoid of any personality. It is possible to duck off the freeway and visit a few of the towns that are part of the legend. If you are interested in this area have a look at our blog at: http://havecarryonwilltravel.com. We spent... More
