Food was great (both the pizza and the veal) and we were surprised to find such a nice meal in the middle of nowhere. Staff was very friendly. it is nearby the Travelodge for those who would stay there.

Mesa recommended by local inn keeper. We were pleasantly surprised by the taste texture and temperature of all the food. Wait staff were courteous and attentive, working as a team.

This little restaurant is a great place to have a nice meal. Somewhat pricey, but the food and staff are definitely 5 star. The pizza here is outstanding. Nice atmosphere for a small Northern Arizona town.

Don't be fooled by outward appearances this a great find. Lunch included entree, salad and garlic bread for one price. Food met our east cost standards. Pasta was light and adequate portions for lunch.

The Mesa is not some where you are impressed with the surroundings-plastic coverings are on top of the cloths, artificial flowers and chintzy curtains but the food makes up for this.We both had warm garlic bread and salad to start and then both had a "house speciality"-me chicken with red wine and tomato sauce, him veal both came with a good helping... The Mesa Restaurant is a little place that you could easily drive by. You will find very good Italian food and service here. My wife had Veal Parmesan and I had Veal Scaloppini. Both came with a side of spaghetti. I had my pasta with garlic butter, she had red sauce. We had a bottle of a Calif. Cabernet Sauvignon.... More

Staff is friendly but the decoration is just terrible: so old fashioned, plastic on the table, awfull. Except the name of Italian dishes, nothing in this place was Italian. I feel sorry for Holbrook: if there is nothing better in town, better avoid staying here. We had spaghetti with tomato sauce: the sauce was way too sweet and the parmesan... More

As was reported by others, ignore the exterior.......We walked in the door and we're surprised at how cute the dining room was. Lovely menu included everything from steak, Italian choices and wonderful pizza. Give it a try. I doubt it will disappoint.

I stopped in here for dinner after a day out at Petrified Forest natl park. It is a smaller establishment but that doesn't take away from the great service and food. I was greeted right away by a pleasant waitress who promptly seated me. I ordered the chicken parmesan and while waiting I was brought out some great garlic bread... More

Way overpriced for mediocre food and slow service. Four people split two pizzas and two apps and it cost $80 in a town where if you blink you'd miss driving through. Waiter was friendly but slooooow.
