Novel venue for Mexican meal

The restaurant is festooned with antique toys and other interesting collectables. The meal was cheap, with generous portions and flavourful. For a simple family meal this is a great option.

I don't know if we were just there on a bad day or what but it was very, very bad. We stopped here because the reviews made it sound like a place not to be missed. The service was perfect, the employees were very pleasant & the price was cheap. The food left a lot to be desired. I had... More

We are passing through on our way from Estes Park to the Grand Canyon. We have felt quite disillusioned with the food we have had lately but boy was it a fab surprise going to Mr Maestas. We had 2 glasses of lovely red wine and shared the combination plate and our bill came to just over $17. Together with... More

Somewhat taken back with the appearance outside and inside. Very rustic with Route 66 everywhere. Food WOW! Soup of the day was BLT. Yep, bacon, lettuce and tomato! Outstanding. Had great Mexican dish with real flavor. Would return again, again.....

Very good home cooked real food, served by a smiling young waitress. Lots of old stuff used as decoration, probably the best dinner in our two week holiday

Very authentic food and service is outstanding. The red and green chilies sauces are fantastic with the flavor but not all the fire of the peppers. Having the Indian fry bread with honey really is a great compliment to a great meal. This place is so good we ate both lunch and dinner here.

My wife and son and I were looking for someplace to eat in Holbrook. Just on an impulse, we decided to stop and try Mr. Maestas. It was wonderfully strange! First, the atmosphere. In some ways, its decor is a poor man's version of Cracker Barrel, but it was more cool to me. There are all kinds of old antiques... More

We stopped here on our way from Flagstaff to the Petrified Forest. Wanting to avoid fast food for lunch, we stopped by Mr Maestas. Really good food, good prices, and excellent service.

Very good authentic food and the service was good. They also have other options and our son said the burger was good too.

We came across this place by accident and glad we did. Food was so good we had the special burger and my husband had the homemade burger. Server was friendly. Highly recommend
