This Mexican restaurant has been established 30 some years ago by the grand-parents, it was originally a bakery and the parents slowly transformed it into a Mexican eatery and now the kids are now running it. Locals eat there too so you know it's a good place to eat.

The restaurant was recommended by the staff at the motel. The food was excellent and the portion size was more than adequate. The prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend this restaurant. Try the Chimichanga.

After spending two months in Yuma's restaurant hell we headed north for some sights. Funny that a small town like Holbrook can get things right. We both ordered beef chimichangas, one with red chili and one with green chilli. Both were fantastic with each having a large portion of seasoned shredded beef covered with a flour tortilla that was lightly fried... More

Been stopping here while roadtriping to AZ for some time. If absolutely great Mexican food or hamburgers are on your lunch agenda exit I40 & treat yourself, you won't be disappointed. Great chips & salsa served in a small carafe. Portions are generous , The quality of the food has never changed in the years we've been going here. The... More

Not to bad. Nice people working. Good food. Out if shredded beef but guess will have to come back for that. Like the mom and pop feeling.

We ate at another place nearby last year because Romo's was closed that day. Romo's had been recommended to us by the couple who was hosting at the info center. This time we made it on a day it was open. The chips were hot and good tasting along with the salsa that was served with them. Husband had a... More

It's hard to find a great restaurant in Holbrook. This one has very good, locally made, Mexican food for a low price. There is really no atmosphere to the restaurant, though -- the TV in the corner blared the evening's football game. Not a romantic spot, but a decent meal.

This place was a very good basic Mexican restsurant. I had the tostadas and my Husband had the Chimichanga. The portions are big so come hungry or split a meal.

the food was good, the service could use some work, though. Locals seemed to like it and that's usually a good sign. The service could use some work, it was a little slow and seemed disorganized.

Upon arriving in Holbrook we asked at the hotel for a great place to eat. The front desk gave us directions to Romo's. We were tired from the road and just needed to refuel. We were surprised at the how good the food smelled as we walked in. Both my wife and I chose the chimichangas (beef/chicken). The size of... More
