Nice Mountain Views

The restaurant is more upscale, then others in the area. The food is exceptional. The service wasn't up to par for a restaurant of this caliber. The price was very reasonable. The sweeping views of the golf course and distant mountains was nice.

French restaurant located in clubhouse of Country Club. Chef is from France and has selected special items for his menu. They also have special evenings to celebrate the Full Moon, or French holidays. We celebrated my father's 100th birthday there with friends and family. A wonderful occasion. Lunch is also special and topped off with wonderful desserts!

We reserved a window seat by the golf course. Our waiter was exceptional. He could answer all the questions and made recommendations as well. The food just melts in your mouth.

Went here with family members. Started off with French Onion Soup that was correctly and efficiently prepared. For a main course I had calves liver. This is a make or break dish for many restaurants as they use beef liver or a lower grade quality of liver and pawn it off as calves liver. This was prepared with bacon and... More

My wife and I have coming to Green Valley for the past 3 years and must say that Lavender is the best restaurant in the area, in our opinion. We have tried most everything on the menu with never being disappointed. The only thing I would suggest is that use bigger olives in the martinis. Patti & Bill

Wonderful, gourmet food, in a beautiful golf course setting. Fresh Oysters like you could only get on the atlantic. Pricey, worth ever cent .

Lavender is part of a private golf course, and advertises its French chef. Went with a party of 4, ordered the rack of lamb, and shared a salad. My food was good, but two of our party ordered breast of chicken, which were both overdone, and dry. One party had soup, and said it was OK, but not great. They... More

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Lavender's. The service was great as was the dinner. They surprised us with a wonderful personalized desert noting our anniversary. A wonderful experience!

Attached to a Country Club, so the french Chef has lots of common touches. Lunch and brunch are actually reasonably priced. Full on French and $$$$$ for dinner. Service varies and there are some quirks--chef is very fond of fennel--but it is the only fine dining here and it is quite good and the only place I would eat seafood... More

The atmosphere is nice, the food is very good, however, the portions are small and it is pricey. Otherwise, worthy of a visit. JH
