The Chef is a France-trained chef who knows what he is doing. The food is excellent and the setting is great. Go for lunch or in the evening in the summer. The views looking out at the golf course are great.

Excellent quality and value, view, service; a totally enjoyable experience; sophisticated fare at a reasonable price; well worth the visit.

Believe it or not, this restaurant is open to the public on an otherwise private golf course! Although I haven't been to Lavendar for quite a while, I am so pleased to see that other recent reviewers have had an excellent experience. The husband and wife team that operate Lavendar have worked diligently to maintain their excellent standards. Located in... More

It's a great place to go for lunch. They have gourmet sandwiches, and most tables have a fantastic view of the golf course.

Charming atmosphere, terrific views, excellent service-- and the meal...Exquisite! I'm head over heels for the "Fricassee de Poisson sur Pâtés Fraiche aux Épinards" (Seafood Medley)--Devine! Professional, courteous, and well-informed servers. A truly lovely dining experience- I'll be back!

We dined at Lavender at 10 a.m. on a Sunday morning, party of 6. The restaurant overlooks a golf course and has full-length windows along the entire wall adjacent to its beautiful golf course. I had a delicious quiche. All of the meals in our group seemed well enjoyed. There's a live pianist playing soft backgroup music starting at around... More

This was the second time I had eaten at this wonderful restaurant in Green Valley. The food was tastefully done, as was the escargot. I had the uncobbed seafood salad, which was the best salad, and beautifully prepared. The other person had the hot corned beef sandwich. I do not like corned beef, but this was delicious. the bread was... More

Chef Frederick has earned the most esteemed culinary credentials that France has to offer. However, his expertise is always exercised with a sensitivity to the dining preferences of southern Arizona patrons. Dishes are beautifully presented paying tribute to and consistent with the high quality of the food. While Frederick oversees the kitchen, his wife, Graciella, presides over the "front of... More

Four of us dined at Lavenders this past week. The food was excellent. The escargot was wonderful, the lamb was excellent as was the salmon. Brett, the server did a very nice job. Unfortunately there were only four tables of patrons the entire time we were there; hopefully they are successful. I will say however that if I was the... More

Six of us enjoyed delightful meals with very good service. It is one if the three best restaurants in Green Valley( fine dining). The atmosphere is a bit tired, the drop leaf on my side of the table drooped at a rather scarey angle but we really enjoyed the Oysters Rockefeller, and scallop and steak entrees! Hopefully they will have... More
