Father's day

We saw that parking lot was full but took a breath & headed in, we surprisingly found a table! Our server greeted us and was kind and attentive. Our orders arrived quickly and our visiting minister was pleasantly surprised how good the food was prepared, authentic! Our party enjoyed our meal and if... read more

We stopped based on its reviews, and were not impressed. It's feel and look are what to expect from rural Arizona, and the place was busy. The service was barely passable, our server did her best to avoid our table and forgot basic things like straws for the kids, place settings, and one of our orders. The food was ok,... More

If you like Rellenos then I would recommend the Cream Cheese fill chicken Chile rellenos. It's a great place to eat but the service is sometimes off. But that happens sometimes when you're so busy.

First of all don't confuse this place with Guayo's El Rey in Miami, AZ. They are just a few miles apart. Not sure if its the same owner? Anyways, this place was packed at noon today. Service was prompt. I got the impression 99% of the people were locals. Food was pretty good (not great) but a nice alternative to... More

I was very very excited to try this place based off of TA reviews. When we pulled up, the parking lot looked pretty full, which made me even more optimistic. Our service was prompt, but the table next to us had a really horrendous time (drink orders lost, waitress disappeared, incorrect dishes served). I ordered the 4x4, and the chilis... More

I read about this place and some others and based on what we came to first while driving back from Payson we decided to stop here. Man were we ever glad we did! This place was super tasty! Yes, we were starving after driving but we know good food when we have it. The service was excellent and the wait... More

Before setting out on a four day camping trip at Roosevelt Lake in the Tonto National Forest, we stopped for a quick meal. The menu is large with many combination special plates. The fried roast beef tacos were great. The regular burritos were excellent with red chili beef and bean. The plate portions were good sized, not small or overwhelming.... More

We drove the entire Apache Trail from Apache Junction to Globe (amazing!) and after a long day we wanted a late lunch/dinner in Globe. Trip Advisor rated this Mexican restaurant as the number one choice. We were not disappointed. Chile rellanos stuffed with chicken and cheese and beef enchiladas smothered in green chiles and cheese. Reasonable prices. They serve beer... More

We had lunch at Guayo based on the review... and there is a reason why it is at the top of the list. The food is very good. I had the chicken salad and it was excellent.
