You really can't pick THE Mexican food restaurant in Globe, AZ, and there's a reason out-of-towers drive to Globe just for the food. La Casita Cafe is one of those reasons. Stopped by today, thank goodness the menu stays pretty much the same, I had my Usual #2, cheese enchilada, bean tostada and beef taco...yummy! My companion had one red... More

This restaurant would have a higher review if we did not have the experience we had on check out. We ordered the three enchilada plate. The waitress asked if I wanted chicken beef or cheese enchiladas. I said I would like a combination. I was not told at the time that each one of those would be priced separately and... More

Authetic Mexican complete with spice with that's what one likes! Reasonably priced and the kind of Mexican food we grew up with in Phoenix.

Good, authentic Mexizonian food with some innovative twists. The fry bread is whole wheat and their custom burro goyo(??) is a nice change of pace. Try it with the green enchilada sauce. The standards are straight up good. I ate there with a large group and we shared a lot of items; burros, taco, and tamales, and agreed that they... More

My daughter and I ate here for dinner 05 April 2014. I must say it was the worst dining experience either of us have ever had. The waitress had a serious attitude and did not listen to us while we were giving our order. After we got our food, she did not check on us once. Then, we waited for... More

I had the cheese enchiladas (with onions), rice, beans and chips and salsa and guacamole. Holy cow this was yummy and I'm sort of a mexican food snob.

This establishment has been in business FOR DECADES! That speaks volumes. All the Mexican restaurants are not owned by the same family, the fool knocking this business and the others is most likely because they were FIRED from working at these places. Like I said, the people from this and surrounding towns come here to eat, as they have for... More

Simply put, La Casita serves great Mexican food at very reasonable prices. The service is fantastic. This is a family place with a look and style I am sure has not changed in the 60 or so years its been in business. Nothing more to say - go here.

Found this place quite by accident. Ran into a few fellow bikers on a ride. After about 100 miles we started to talk about food and one of the couples suggested La Casitias. WOW....what great food!! Great atmosphere, great service. Highly recommended for budget conscious bikers!!

Whenever we visit Mesa, AZ, we try to come in through Globe and Miami, however, we don't know a lot about these towns, so we decided to cruise around and see if we could find a good local restaurant. We passed La Casita Café twice before we finally decided to give it a shot. We sure are glad we did!... More
