Good family owned Mexican food.

La Casita has been in town for many years. It is family owned and operated. I used to go there as a kid 60 years ago and it is still there. So it must be good.

Friendly servers and tasty tacos. There aren't many local places open for dinner, still better than fast food.

Labor Day weekend and not many restaurants to choose from after hiking in the Pinals. A long time local favorite which has been there since the '40s. The server was good and friendly telling us how she was driving to Tempe several times a week for school, working at la Casita, and raising her child. I had the machaca...it was... More

This is a Horrible excuse for Mexican food. My sweetie hasn't felt good since she ate the frozen pre-formed tablespoon of beef ( at least I think it was beef?) thrown into a taco shell, thrown in oil to heat her up, tacos. With a little American cheese melted on top of the tomato sauce enchilada; whatever happened to even... More

My buddies from Phoenix took me to a range of Mexican restaurants across the State. From top end places to simple diners. This place had the best food. The green Chilli was the best that I had anywhere. The waitress was terrific. I can't wait to return. Yeah, it's a long way for a good feed, but it was worth... More

Service again was slow. We had asked for more chips & we had to remind our server three times; refills were not tended to. The last time, we waited over 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order & it wasn't busy! We left because it took too long for our server to come back. This time, we found... More

The food was good, service pretty good. Definitely a locals favorite, it filled up fast. They didn't have much experience with gluten-free, so youll need to ask questions. All of our meals were very good.

La Casita was recommended to us by the B&B we stayed in while visiting Globe. We were a bit worried when we walked in as they decor is very basic and dark and it felt like it had seen better days. We ordered chili rellanos, chicken enchilada, and tamale and all came out steaming hot. Actually still boiling on the... More

A friend living in Globe recommended we eat at La Casita Cafe as part of his going away celebration. I figured we could not go wrong since he is board certified by the states of New Mexico and Arizona as a Mexican food specialist (not really). I might also mention that he is a charter member of Pancho’s in Albuquerque... More
