As we go here quite regularly and meet many friends here plus it's close to our home, this is one of my favorite places!!! The food and service is always excellent and everyone is so happy and helpful!! A great hometown find!

Cozy local restaurant. A perfect example of "diners" cafe. Mismatch of this and that, great food, and seriously..seriously the pancakes have excellent flavor, the muffins are a great draw and even the syrup does not feel/taste watered down. Well worth the hunt and a great "find"! Love going there!

Nice little neighborhood place. It's small, kinda crowded, and the tables and chairs have that artsy mismatch thing happening - but the muffins and pancakes were great. Yes, I will be back and I would recommend it to those willing to try a place with a different feel.

What a cute, kitschy place, and the food is really good. The omelettes are nice, fluffy and huge. The French Toast is made with whole wheat bread, and you have lots of choices that are a bit unusual for a little cafe in this part of town, such as snow peas and pulled pork for omelettes, and several different types... We enjoy our visits to Kiss the Cook, and wish they could be more frequent. Wrap around windows and antiques all around make it bright & interesting. Our lunches were a step above ordinary - my tuna salad had crunchy water chestnuts added, the fruit salad was fresh, not canned. Roast beef sandwich had cucumber slices as a bonus, on... More

Have eaten here for 15 yrs+. Nice variety of choices. Food is fresh and they cater to special requests. Family owned. Long time staff and are friendly to everyone. We love seeing friends who frequent this place.

We had a little trouble finding it because it is farther out (east) of downtown Glendale than I remembered (ate here once before a number of years ago) but it is worth the search. This is a breakfast/lunch place. We went for breakfast so can only comment on that, but I suspect the lunches are equally good. You'll find what... More

We were sadly disappointed in our visit. There were seven of us; we were seated quickly and our waitress was very attentive with water & coffee refills. Our food arrived quickly, but the quality of the food was poor. The cinnamon pecan buns tasted as if they were one or two days old - very dry and some sort of... More

All meals come on grandma's dishes, and everything is made from scratch. Eggs Benedict is great. They prefer cash, so be prepared.

My wife and I met with an old colleague of mine and his wife on a crowded Sunday. Overall, it was well worth the wait. My wife had the fruit plate and I had the buttermilk pancakes with turkey sausage. The plate was excellent, as were the pancakes. But the turkey sausage was tasteless and the building was too warm...
